Yeah, don't think @nick_h. is a troll. Gloomy, probably realist, maybe pessimist even but not a troll.
And his point about being afraid of ww3 / nuclear war is just following Putin's narrative is spot on.
The only diplomacy Russians understand is a punch in the face kind of diplomacy.
NATO should've done this to them immediately when the full scale invasion started.

This is super sad. Not sure I would blame casual citizens who just want to live in peace - russophilic or not. We can't assume they stayed in Mariupol because they were pro russian.
Somewhat similar stuff hapenned here in Lithuania when soviets came. They imposed new laws about "optimum square footage per person" and there are plenty of stories where, if you had a house, a house would be confiscated and divided into 4 flats.
If you were lucky enough you would get a flat and some new neighbours - if not - a ticket to gulag.

Insane.
It begs the obvious question - how much do russians have left and for how long can they keep going like this.
There was an estimation somewhere that russia had about 10000 tanks at the beginning of the invasion. Out of all tanks roughly 70% are operational. As of today Ukraine claims to have destroyed 6227.
Nonetheless, it looks like they place their bets on the support for Ukraine stalling so they can drive through it with whatever they have left.
And the thought of the latter is particularly scary as, according to some, the Baltics would be next.

I've had terrible experience with them. Couldn't tighten them properly, then I messed the lock ring (it's plastic). Ordered another one from then, ruined it too. Then i've bought an aluminium one and managed to securely tighten it but by then I've developed problems with CK bottom bracket - it would eventually start creaking - one mechanic said it's because the crankset was too tight, another one guessed it's because it was too loose.
Anyway, eventually the pedal inserts delaminated from crank arms and started moving around.
They look nice and the weight is superb. And the price is so good it almost makes me want to try them again and hope 2nd time's a charm.

Months of planning with the United States was tossed aside on that fourth day, and the already delayed counteroffensive, designed to reach the Sea of Azov within two to three months, ground to a near-halt. Rather than making a nine-mile breakthrough on their first day, the Ukrainians in the nearly six months since June have advanced about 12 miles and liberated a handful of villages. Melitopol is still far out of reach.

Rear rene herse umtanum ridge with extralight casing no longer holds air as tubeless after 6600 km.
I've put a tube in the rear one and will try finishing them off with tubes.
Probably a standard procedure with extralight casing but the mileage is solid as well.
