Good little runners these, I had one for 5 years and all it ever needed was tyres and brake discs/pads.
Good that it's got steel wheels on as well, akes tyres cheaper and easier to stick some winter tyres on there for adventures.
Try and find out how much the VED is and put it in the ad. People can check the MOT history on gov.uk website and that'll give some clues regarding what might need looked at.
Price seems pretty good to be honest, I'm sorry that your Dad is suffering with Alzheimer's, hopefully you'll get it away soon.
Edit: quick scan of the MOT history looks like no major issues! Good wee buy.

They wouldn't come up in an MOT, they're just parts that are expensive to replace if they go wrong and if they haven't been replaced since the van was purchased (unlikely I would say) then it will put people off a bit. Ask him if he's got any servicing documents as having that available will help the sale.

I think this one is about 335 a year in VED. Might be less if it's been registered before a certain date, ask your mate for that info and put it up here.
Damaged door and seat bolster knock some money off and that mileage will put people off unless things like the water pump and timing belt have been sorted already. Would be worth getting that info.
All in all I suspect it's a bit steep on price. Just my 2 cents, happy to be contradicted.

Been nicked off some scaffolding nearby I would think, those aren't really bought by DIY type people. Decent quality likely.
