fwiw I recently sold the same bike (really good condition frame in black with DA7800) and it took me a very very long time to sell. I had it priced similarly (which I thought was fair) but as mentioned above its a niche market. I ended up selling to someone who was buying their first road bike for 550 €
but if anyone is interested, it's a very capable bike despite its age. if I didn't need the money I wouldve kept mine.

Cheers, exactly my thoughts when I first saw it :p honestly I want it to be my idea of a perfect build but realistically I should just get it built up.
Bringing me to the next dilemma - Campagnolo EC-RE001 downtube cable stops but one of the barrel adjusters is broken as pictured. Above that is a lovely stainless one from Donhou but the thread is too big. I'll go ahead and get a Shimano or other replacement for now as the campag ones seem to be pricey and rare.

Handlebars will be Deda 215 Shallow. The most aesthetic bend paired with campagnolo shifters imo. Wish they came in 38cm c-c but from my research, a black 26.0 handlebar of that width and shape is almost impossible to find. Tape will most likely be black or pink (if it matches the frame.)
Unfortunately my bars are 44cm (42 c-c) and so I need to find another pair that is 42cm (40 c-c)

I wanted to keep the groupset but then found other parts being sold for a steal. Ideally after a standard chainset but compact is fine in the meantime. I nicked the rear derailleur from the Canyon and gave it a centaur one, so I now have short and med cage Chorus derailleurs but atm I only have a 11-25 cassette.
At some point last year or the year before I took photos comparing silver and black brakes on the frame. I'm going with black and they are super record (without the red because I'm really not into the red parts on Campagnolo stuff.) -
Soooo it's been far too long. I guess my 2021 break from cycling / bikes extended into 2022 as well. Due to life circumstances I just haven't had the funds to finish this project. It's likely that this build will still take me a while but I'm determined to finish it this year. Now to get completely side tracked with other things.
I bought an old Canyon Ultimate for the groupset. This was so long ago now. It cost me 600€ and it was a bit dumb because the whole bike wasn't in great shape. I haven't done anything with it and now that I found better condition parts, I need to get rid of it. Hoping I can make my money back.
