The route above was planned for 15 days, but it was hardcore AF. You don´t want to do more than 80km a day in a trip like this in such a mountainous country, so 800 or 900km might be a good number for 14 days. All that taking into account that you may probably loose a couple of days on planes/airports and visiting Tblisi.

You can find the route above.
I wouldn´t reccomend less than 50mm unless you are strictly doing asphalted roads, but one of the beauties of this country are the Caucasus mountains and the 'gravel' passes there, so you´ll want bigger tyres to enjoy the route with a minimum confort.
Having said that, if you can´t squeeze more than 42mm, go ride with it!

Thanks!
This was the original rout but we did some modifications during the journey: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/28294046
There are heavy rough stuff and bike pushing kilometres, so send me a PM if you want some more info and clarifications about it.
There´s no need for camping gear in Georgia, the accommodation is so absurdly cheap it´s totally pointless to carry a tent. There are guest houses almost in every village.

I´ve got Kool Stop grey pads on the front brake installed before I even tested the bike and still it doesn´t feel right. With the previous 105 80´s brakes I could brake as hard as to the point that the rear wheel would elevate from the ground, something totally impossible with the R559S.
I think I´ll give a go to Kool Stop salmons and see if there´s any improvement.

Easyeast and probably best way: go with drops and Ultegra bar end shifters in full friction mode.
My drivetrain is fully compatible and after I tried friction mode I never wanted to go back.
BUT! Friction mode only works nicely up to 8 speed and maybe 9 aswell. Above that it´s a bit tricky to find the right cog.

It´s in Parque Nacional de Ordesa in Pyrenees. Riding inside the park is totally forbidden, but there´s an amazing gravel road (Pista de las cutas) that surrounds the valley of Ordesa and the views are something else.

That was the dog of a colombian family of three (+ doggo) travelling the world since march. The poor dog had been attacked the day before by some stray doggos, hence the scars.
I must point out the dogs there are crazy for cyclists (and there are stray dogs EVERYWHERE). Five minutes before I took that picture, a dog jumped from the other side of the road and it was instantly smashed by a van coming in the other direction. Shocking.
