I wouldn’t be able to work out where to finish the tiling with the different lengths of the top/bottom units and socket placement.
This is very much the challenge.
If you’re determined to tile up to the bottom of the wall units I’d shift the offending socket to the right, to the centre of the wine rack.
But the upstand idea feels neater to me. I’d do the hob splash back in worktop material too tho, keeps it simple.

This.
I do sometimes scoff when I see it, but usually only if it’s for a company I don’t like, then I check myself. It’s defo a good thing that bad companies are trying to do good things.
ETA: that’s not to say Oak Furniture Land are bad. Though you should probably get your wardrobe second hand or at least made of softwood if you can. M

Adding an underlay to a watertight roof is not necessary, the roof is working as intended, it’s kept the house dry without one for 90 years. Leave well alone. The odd tile may fail one day but they can be replaced, the whole roof won’t suddenly implode in 10 years. If a load of other houses on the street had new roofs it’d be a sign the lifespan is nearly up, but if they’re nearly all original I’d not be worried.
I agree with danb on the woodworm and damp, ignore the historic woodworm, repair the cause of the damp as the surveyor suggests, don’t call a damp proofing company.
I’d say that’s a great survey for a 30s house.

And I always wondered, when I went out with middle class people, how they managed to treat the city like a playground rather than an assault course. And that's why. Because they grew up somewhere they didn't have to be ready to fight at a moment's notice.
This is something of a generalisation. I’m middle class and require the exact same amount of notice for a fight. ‘One moment while I remove my GMT Master II.’

Ideally we’d have something in brushed steel to match taps/window furniture.
If you want a Matt silver finish anodised aluminium is a much nicer finish to touch than stainless, it doesn’t have that prickly feel. It’s softer to touch and more residential.
It’s a more expensive finish, but you look at and interact with door handles all the time and I reckon you’d appreciate the extra spend every day.
