"get that shit resolved"... Could not agree more. And this was fully resolved four days before i even learnt of this thread, when I promptly replied to his only email, refunded the postage and offered a sincere apology. Leaving what was written on here as the only shit to get resolved.
Everything and everyone gets looked after eventually. There is only so much time in a day, and these days go on after midnight when needed. Incoming Comms, emails etc are quite rightly dealt with after customers bikes are built, after courier collection deadlines etc. (Sorry Jim, your bike is not going to be with you this week, i know you wanted if for an event this weekend, but i am reading emails instead). but it does all get done, you are in queue, you have to wait your turn.
I reported a blocked right of way to the council, they called me back about a week later, and the path was cleared about a month after that... I did not suspect the council of running a path / poll tax / brambles racket, or accuse them of this and insult them on a footpath forum. The rights of way guy was just busy, and I waited my turn. In the meantime there was a trail I could not ride, but I coped with that.
In this case the only ill effect of this work prioritisation is the postings on this forum. There was absolutely nothing I could have done once parcel force took the parcel.
This whole thing is a non-event, there is nothing to see here, move along now....

Lovecloughfixie... Folk have to be more relaxed than you when Buying anything through a postal system. Three days late is not good, bloody awlful, but you had the tracking number, you had proof of despatch, you were in contact with parcel force, they had the parcel........ and you thought you were being scammed by me!
Other things you have said don't add up, I won't mention them here. Sandwich... Probably bacon, but chilli sausage baguette is quite common. Dave made a griddled banana, with chill, and strawberry jam croissant recently... That was lovely.
Yes, my own titanium salsa Fargo got knocked over. Almost £200 of damage to mech, hanger, and bar tape. I stayed cool enough. People don't understand that bikes can be that fragile, or cost that much.
And yes, Michelle AKA mrs bikemonger does all the office work. I have to do the real work of cycling around France, organising SSUK, standing in fields and beer tents.

Michelle (aka Mrs Bikemonger) has pointed out that you originally paid by an "e cheque" a paypal payment that takes about a week to clear. She contacted you to explain, as she could see you had paid for 24 hr delievery, which would not be possible without cleared funds. I would not say we went an extra mile, but we exceeded customer service standards at 99% of mail order outfits, to ensure that your bars left ASAP, which they did. Can you imagine CRC, Wiggle etc etc doing this?

Like you say it was out of my hands, and in parcel forces hands. There was nothing I could have done whilst parcel force were messing around. I left us asap..
But whilst this is online for all to see.... allow me to conclude
We have had a friendly exchange of emails.
I responded as soon as that email was picked up.
The parcel was delivered late, on saturday 8/12.
You had your refund instantly, on saturday 8/12 for the delivery charge at £8.99.So to anyone reading this....
- parcel force make mistakes (as they employ human beings), but they are the most reliable courier we have found.
- I look after my customers. You know I ride bikes, and buy from other shops, I am just like you, but have a bikeshop, and probably bigger hair.
- We get countless emails and phone messages everyday (over 400), we can not always respond to these instantly. It would be nice but its not always possible. That week was particularly busy, with a busted wrist, and a lot going on.
