The dented headtube is an easy fix, bit of bending with pliers and hammering the round end of a spanner at it and it pops out fine, squeeze your bearings in and job done, maybe stick a bit of inner tube over the bit you're bending if worried about paintwork.
this is exactly what i did when mine came damaged, though I'm not surprised considering this is the box it came in

You spec that? I can get 28 in mine pretty easily and got a 25 in there slammed totally with a nice amount of space.
I guess the chainstay length must be slightly shorter with the triple triangle frames.
Ah man little disappointing the prices are going up. Might shoot Robert an email to see if he'll give me a discount as a returning customer
I still feel like I got a good deal and to be honest I don't know how they were making any money from the prices they were originally charging.

What fork is that Chin?
Its from a 2011 Argon 18 Radon. http://www.ykkbikes.com/sites/ykkbikes.com/files/product_images/big_Radon_V1.jpg
I got it for £36 basically brand new off ebay.

nice! it looks pretty good with the silver chainring to match the wheels I reckon. That rear clearance looks tight as fuck!
Thanks, yeah I think ill stick with the silver ring. if I slam the wheel in the dropouts the tyre touches but they are 25c's. At the moment there is about a millimetre clearance.
Very nice build The Chin, How much did your frame set you back?
Thanks mate, it cost £204 all in all with custom tubing (triangular top tube, oval downtube), custom geo, sparkly paint, smooth welds, integrated headset, triple triangle and brake cable stops and mount. How long did you have to wait for your frame in total Chin, Robert has told me mine was being sent out start of the week, but its Tuesday now and I still havent heard from him, its starting to piss me of to be honest, was originally told 4wks, now in week 7, and honestly on the verge of telling him where to stick his frame, I swear if this place were in England I`d be on his doorstep with a few choice words about customer service ffs
My frame was sent out on the 7th and i received it on the 18th. I understand your point but it really is a quality bit of kit, it'll be worth the wait!

sorry to disappoint, no new drop-out sadly, guess I must have been one of the last to get the old ones.
P1100411 by The Chinnnn, on FlickrStill a couple things need doing but its not looking too bad, getting a new black headset tomorrow, headset spacers going to be black. Trying to decide whether the chainring should be black too or not. opinions?

Well my frame finally arrived! very pleased with it, the colour is a purply pink with rad fade from front to back, light to dark. As with a couple of other people my head tube was dented in transit but its not the end of the world, just bent it back. the custom geo i ordered turned out perfect which i was a little worried about to begin with. its 95% built, just waiting on a headset.
Will post pictures tomorow -

They sent me this picture a couple days ago, the colour is supposed to be a very deep purple but the paint shop messed up, the paint is really thin. to be honest im not too bothered really, i didn't want to go through all of the hassle of getting them to send it back to the paint shop.
Also looks like im one of the last people to get the old drop outs but personally they dont really bother me as much as some other people.
With any luck it might tun up some time this weeks as it was apparently sent out on thursday.

You can specify which you want. i went for the cane creek. Measurements were spot on, no need for any extra headset prep.
Thanks, damn now i'm worried as to which one i'm getting as i didn't specify. I think ill hold back and wait till i get the frame and fit the campy integrated that is in my dirt jump bike to see if that fits before buying one, unless there is anyone who ordered one and didn't specify which one they wanted and know which headset they have in theirs?

Quick question for the people who have the integrated headset with they're mielec, which standard is it? they all have different head tube diameters.
Campy - 46mm (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=38690),
Cane creek - 45mm (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=38688)
Ritchey - 41.8mm (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=38689)

I'm knocking this on the head, as much as I would like one, he's quoting me £200, with the new dropouts.
I could probably buy a 2nd hand mash frame for that.
Mine cost me £204 posted with this spec
Frame size: extra large (XL) -with custom geo i dicussed with him
Style: triple triangle low pro shape
Down tube: oval
Top tube: triangular
Welds: smooth
Headset style: integrated
Rear brake bridge: drilled
Paint: same colour and finish as this frame http://www.bikemielec.com/en/img_oth/ostre_kolo_6.jpg (it is the dark red one on the far right of the examples on the track bike page)
Seat post diameter: 31,6Also i was looking for a cheep beat-down mash and as far as i could see there were none going for anywhere near £200 but could be wrong.

If you were ever wondering what a mielec would look like with a 135mm suspension fork attached then here it is.

This is the product of the need for me to revise and my procrastination.
