Thanks everyone, these are really rough at the moment so we can tweak everything on them.
The pattern is taken from something else I did just to mock these up, so I'd be drawing a new pattern especially for this. Flowers, colours, sizing etc can change so keep any ideas / feedback coming, glad you all like it so far! -

@roboto You did really good, well done! The women's races were so much harder than I expected, so glad to hold on until the end in the 50 lap scratch. Looking forward to the next one!

Booked the women's induction for Tuesday April 1st
Much excite!
Yes Jess! See you there.
Also just emailed about using my own bike and they said it would be fine as long as the coach deems it acceptable before the session, which I think is the procedure at all UK velodromes.
The price is still fixed at £30 if you hire a bike or not, but I'm guessing everyone would like to take their own, I do!

I will be attending my first ladies track session this Sunday, but I have a few questions.
I will need an induction, should I get there a bit earlier? Does it start at 4?
Also I'm a bit worried about my gearing - my current ratio is 49/18 which is roughly 70'. Is that too low for track? Unfortunately my rear wheel is only single side fixed. Should I look at sourcing a smaller cog and swapping it out before Sunday?
Thanks
ShelbyDon't worry too much, it should be fine. There's lots of variation on gearing between people.
Do the first lesson on that then see if you're spinning too much to keep up, if you are go higher, if it's comfortable for you then it's all good!
It'll be great to see new faces! Let's hope the weather holds up!

In for the lolz. Haven't been on the track or bike for months, it'll be a kick into shape for the new season.
