I think the ethos of RHC is all about the riders anyway. These events usually attract a decent support from spectators without any formal advertising campaign. Location is king with the RHC and the Mall is way too formal, the event is supposed to be back street and on the edge of town, but London in 2016 is seriously lacking in that type of environment.

The crits that are currently being held in London and Bournemouth are the right way for us to go at the moment. Local crits are great for encouraging new riders and teams to gain the experience necessary to compete at RHC.. I am planning to hold a few more track bike crits in the future and im sure other organizers will to. Sumo is right, the RHC is worlds no. 1 fixed event and will only grow in popularity.
