How's everyone?
Chung: You're welcome, glad that was quick! Also saw your pokemons library:
These two are the best - a bit taller than Maxi can display, but still nice. Something fresh among our arrows and chevrons, teheheh ;)Also canadians left their mark, cheers from there!
-
Chung: I'll be processing orders again soon. Maxi's are here already, and mini lights will be ready Thursday-Friday. No worries!!!
PQR: Oh, thanks, Phil. Pleased to hear, really! :)Want to share few pics:
Police Flasher lib for ledus wheelus mini – guy who asked me to draw it is a policeman, on a bike :)

Fresh video – animated libs and users' images demo for the maxi lights.
I was posting gif renders and screenshots (Mario Toad, Nana, PolkaDot, Invaders, chevrons, ...), now it's time for a live video. Made a special LFGSS version :)Thanks whatok, Ramaye, MrDrem, all anonymous buddies and twitterers for your cool designs! And thanks for the feedbacks and orders too!
Update: re-uploaded the video, now available on mobile devices and tv boxes. See below.
-
HatBeard: not everyone is from here, need to start putting some lfgss stickers inside the pack to invite them.
All: see a pic below ;)Minor updates to the website – made single images downloadable directly from the Image Editor gallery
and from the Anonymous gallery
Actually they are not images, but Single-image-libraries – ready for uploading into the Ledus Wheelus Mini/Maxi wheel lights via usb. For those users, who don't want to mess with the standard multi-image libraries.

alasdairw: hey! old devices can sometimes switch off because the water gets onto the touch-sensitive 'Off' area or onto the microchip - if you're riding in rain/snow/other terrible conditions - discussed that few pages earlier this thread. We've made a software in which touch-buttons sensitivity can be reduced or disabled fully - so they will not react on water touches. Email me if you need more details, please.
+On new units there's no touch 'Off' button at all, so the water will not switch them off
+Added a transparent polyurethane coating for the microchip - kinda waterproof shell for extra durability.
There is no limit to perfection, but we trying to make improvements and the product itself better. Tnx. -

Hi there!
Couple of pics of new improved Ledus Wheelus Mini lights (March 2013 version):
+New packaging, similar to the Maxi lights, usb cable included
+User's guide replaced with a bigger color user's manual
+Touch sensitive 'Off' area removed completely. Now 'Power' button both switches the unit on and off by click - rewired it the same way it's done on Maxi
-
Doctor Cake: Low batt or battery freezes outside and voltage drops. That's collllld.
Ah, glad you liked the new packaging, designed by me ;) And I used some of the public user's images to create it.Ramaye: Yep, cleaning from time to time is a useful tip. That's not only a usb gadget but a bike part, right. A bit of attention and it will put a smile on your face longer.
Okay, few more things to show:
Oppan Gangnam Style theme for Maxi. Op op op op
+Refreshed a Maxi Default lib - space invaders now pre-uploaded and also it includes some of your images. Woo!

Holla everyone, howdy? Wanna share some project news:
- Designed a better package for the Maxi lights, old envelopes were kinda utilitarian and a bit dull, right? So we replaced them with this box:
Yup, includes a mini-usb cable.
Old black-and-white quick user's guide replaced with a bigger colour user's manual. The most frequent questions I received from the customers covered there – now it's not only for geeks but for normal people as well :)
Added few more things inside a box, but that's a surprise, hehe ;)
It's difficult to make everything at once (and users' feature requests too), but step by step the product is getting better, which is nice.
Thanks for your orders, feedback and support – this helps to keep improving!
More news about the Mini lights coming. - Designed a better package for the Maxi lights, old envelopes were kinda utilitarian and a bit dull, right? So we replaced them with this box:

Miso Soup: Maxi devices expected next week, Mini - March 11-12 - I hope. Drop me a note pls, I'll add you to the notification list (email is in the bottom here). Thanks!
Okay, few more drawings - Angry Birds theme preview! (hidden pig, hehe :)
-
Khornight2: Adobe discontinued AIR support for Linux (why?) => so we build Ledus Wheelus app for Win and Mac at the moment. Yup, needz AIR.
Try VirtualBox in Ubuntu - must work there. -
-
Yup, I saw!
A bit of project news. Was experimenting with different coatings recently - nitrocellulose, alkyd-urethane, polyurethane lacquer, 2-component epoxy, silicon and hot-melt adhesives (+couple more coming). As a result, the microprocessor unit on all Ledus Wheelus devices got a transparent 0.2-0.4mm polyurethane coating. Maxi-s, that were on sale this week already have it.
IMHO, extra durability isn't a bad thing. Especially for the bike parts :)
-
:) that was easy
There were a lot of anonymous patterns for Maxi (some of them by whatok, he-he), so I've organized them into libs - for non-twitterers, who cannot login on site and create a library - all here (ledus wheelus public libraries)
Thanks for your orders, hope the delivery is quick! -
-
NP! Wow, hundred frames is a lot for this chip. Currently Maxi can handle up to 20-30 mid-size full-color pictures, Mini light – up to 40-60. Long pictures eat more space of course. As for me, short patterns look more effective – and you can pack more of them. Just a quick tip :)
Use Maxi default and Mini default libraries as the reference points (20 and 40 images respectively – not max, but close to the limit).
BTW, has anyone used the other lighting systems? How many images can be flashed there?
