I have a fairly old shimano 600 groupset that i got off of a car boot bike for a steal recently, cleaned all the bits up and they look in great condition
doesn't have the 600 brake levers or gear levers but does include, both brakes, Crankset, Rear derailleur, front derailleur, both hubs, cassette and BB (its all the same groupset this crankset is part of http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Shimano-600-Crankset-Biopace-Road-Bicycle-170mm-52-42-/291085394569?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43c60aa289#ht_195wt_1238)
just wondering what the value of the bits would be??

Either of those should be pretty decent, CAAD 10 probably slightly more racey geo?
But assuming its a full 105 groupset like the Madone, I'd say either would be more useful than an equivalent TT bikeHave found a CAAD 10 105 for £950 at a local bike shop that accepts C2W, so for the money i'd say thats pretty good, no?

Well if im steering away from TT, Trek Madone seems as good as you can get for 1k?

anyone owned/owns one want to shed some light?

Just started a new job, and i have to do a 18mile commute to get there. My 531 fixie build is fine but i've been intending to buy/build a new bike for a while now.
Was thinking of getting a new TT bike on the C2W scheme, like the look of the Planet x Stealth but want to know what the other options are for a similar price range (C2W means it must be 1k or less)
