Still on d hunt. This is proving far too difficult for my looking. There is a 58cm pug on fleabayhttp://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=121021469409&index=0&nav=SEARCH&nid=42074370465 but needs building from scratch. Replay and all its gubbins added. Not sure the frame is special enough though.

Don't break! this is pretty good value considering they've just released a replica 125th Birthday edition of this for £2,000 http://road.cc/content/news/70148-raleigh-celebrate-125th-anniversary-new-old-bike

hiya Lak, thanks very much for the picture, looks amazing. wife definitely doesn't want something that feels small. I've already had to sell on one mixte already as a result. very pretty bike though so i will show her the pic to see what she thinks... looking for a large, well specced (or just lge 531 frame) mixte is proving more difficult than I thought. rarer than hens teeth apparently.
-
she's still on the lookout for a 23" classic bike... anything like a Lady Clubman or a Ladydale would be good. i.e. decent 531 frame with quality kit on it.
both raleigh and claud butler made nice 531 mixte's like the Majestique but large immaculate ladies frames seem rarer than hen's teeth. speaking of which this only comes in a '22 size max but this might do as well at a pinch. From the fount of knowledge that is LFGSS, Does anyone have any other suggestions for makes & models of high quality 531 framed classic mixte bikes?

thanks so far for the suggestions.
@ pharoahsanders. I did do a search and investigated some of the suggestions provided before posting but I was keen to find out if anyone had experience of these 'new' Pasela 'PT's' which are supposed to be a new beast from the previous TG's.
the other threads I found hadn't comments on them for quite a while but in future i'll add to these...
The challenge Paris Roubaix tyres do look great but a bit out of my price range for my daily commuter..

Hi All,
wondering if anyone can recommend these tyres? looking for puncture resistant gumwall 700 x 25-28. not fussy if folding or otherwise. keen price preferable. running Michelin dynamic classic's which are supposed to have puncture protection but they are failing miserably after an encouraging start. now up to 6 punctures in 2 weeks.. with 1 last night and 1 this morning being the last straw for me...
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=61961&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=Shopping&utm_name=UnitedKingdombristol streets r full of glass and to make matters worse the council have added some sort of grippy junction marking stone surface on cycle routes which chews through tyres like they're made of butter! would kike to keep the classic gumwall look if possible for my 80's clubman commuter

looking for a good condition ladies mixte from 60's to 80's for the good lady wife. Will consider anything in large (ish) sizes. she's 5' 10'' currently rides a mens 56cm road bike with a slightly shorter stem than normal. in Bristol but can travel or arrange collection in London or the south. even better if it has panniers or mudguards.
