Took my own advice and advantage of the weather. Swift stop at Loddon Brewery. Was quiet roads the whole journey.

@moocher If you head up out of Henley towards Pishill you can head past Stonor Park and then down some country road quickly back into Reading. Another way out of Henley would be up Remenham Hill for a nice leg tester ultimately back through Twyford towards Reading.

Having never entered a crit race before. Is this the kind of race a beginner could enter?

long time lurker with not many posts but had a great ride out from Reading past Haslemere and back. 92 lovely miles on 42x15. Have decided England is very beautiful.

Completed today all fixed. Today was a mental battle though that at some points i thought i would quit. Only managed 182km last year so well chuffed i finished this year.

nice one. Cant wait to go now.

I'm planning on catching the ferry, then up to amsterdam in august. i have been looking at routes and it seems like the option would be to follow the north sea cycle route. I plan on going fixed, (is this a suitable option?) but will have others in the group who i have no idea of their bike fitness or even what bike they are going to ride. This seems the best option for a easy paced ride up there. Is this the best route to take??

got a bike to commute to work and am now hooked, although i have not done to many miles in the saddle. I ride SS at the moment but do plan on changing to fixed sometime soon.
