Had this for a number of years but finally selling as I realise it is too small for me.
Think it was originally a Specialized Globe but I have replaced both wheels, chain ring (stronger gearing) and saddle (which is actually v comfortable). I have taken off the grips for my new bike - so you will need to buy some. The back wheel may need a check-up as there seems to be the smallest amount of resistance when it spins. Frame has moderate knocks and scrapes.
Looking for £160 ONO - can cycle to wherever - within reason - in London.
If you want a rear brake I can sell you some Shimano BR R451 calipers for £15.

Quite vague I know, I do not have a great understanding of frames despite having cycled regularly for the past 5 years or so.
I am looking to get a bigger fixed bike as my current one (Specialized, 55cm) is too small. My plan is to transfer over most of the parts of my current one onto this new bigger frame. I will also add bmx type handlebars as I want a more upright cycling position.
Please let me know if you have something that I may be interested in.

I know there have been a few threads on this matter already but I would quite like some up to date information.
I am taking a year out from university to do some serious travelling but I would quite like a job until Christmas, preferably as a bicycle courier in London.
I've applied to a few places and not heard back from and failed the geography test at CitySprint even though my London road knowledge isn't bad. Are there any smaller companies currently recruiting or bigger ones likely to take on a rookie? I'm not too worried about earning slightly less at a smaller company. Other than internet searches is there any other way I can get a job as a courier or get contacts in the industry?
Cheers,
Hugo
