I recently acquired a very nice Raleigh Touriste frame but unfortunately throughout its life has had many parts replaced / exchanged.
A nice bike back in the day - check out the original Raleigh catalogue p.15
http://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2/d/15709-3/Raleigh91.pdf.Mine has had the drops removed for flat bars and inevitably downtube shifters have gone etc etc
I aim to strip it back and upgrade most if not all of the parts and bring it back to its former glory and would like some recommendations on what components would sit well.
Its has 126mm spacing on the rear and Id like to keep it that way if possible but I know parts are hard to come by......
I'd really like to get a dura ace setup - I think 7400 7-speed would work?? but am open to suggestions
Your advice please ladies and gents.....
(wow if you have a groupset and drop bars that will slot straight in - you've made a sale!)
