I only encountered one off-road section and it was news to me! I don't know if that was a blip or if the route had been amended after i abandoned my route mistress duties. There was also a weird loop around a junction as well. As far as I know the route sheet was more accurate which is proper Audaxing, right?

Glad most had a great time yesterday. I helped plan the route, and I have to say finding a suitable route back into London is tough. Agree about Loughton - some guy parked up in his car at the side of the road was shouting abuse at myself and @a'dan along with some riders before us.
Last year I put the route back past North Weald airfield and that was similarly grim with angry traffic. That part of Essex on a Sunday does seem to be a hive for all the anger and hate ever :(
Again, I understand the Lea Bridge Road sucks, but the only other option is Walthamstow and Tottenham. Which also sucks. Go much further south and you hit the A12 and Hackney Marshes which can make planning a direct route home slightly tricky.
I'm not with ICC anymore, but you should deffo send route notes back to the organisers. It's always good to keep tweaking the route as much as possible.
And I had the Rhubarb. Made it back unscathed and will be getting made into a crumble this eve!

@Preset I have been having a think and I am going to pass as I don't think the frame will fit me. Sad times as I think this is a great bike. Thanks. x

Hey +Preset - did you say it doesn't have drops on it anymore? I'd be interested if had the drops that you feature in the pics.
I'm 5'5 and usually take a 50cm frame so a little worried it would be too large for me...but may take the risk. My also be able to do pickup in Leeds to save on postage.

My newish and very nice Surly Crosscheck has been stolen over the weekend from an indoor bike park at my flat building in N16. Got stolen between Thursday 20th Nov evening and Tuesday 25th evening. Have reported to the police.
Hospital Foam Green, 50cm, SS 44:17, tan fizik bar tape and tan selle italia saddle. The rear wheel will be a deep rim planet X job with a cream schwalbe tyre. They didn't steal the front wheel as it was the only thing I stupidly locked up (indoor bike parking = false sense of security). The front wheel from another bike was stolen, so I imagine this is what was put on mine to ride away.
Here's a pic. I would dearly love to be reunited with her, but not holding out any hope....

Hello there! My current steel mixte frame is damaged beyond repair unfortunately, so I am looking for a replacement. I'm struggling to find a decent 50cm frame so thought I would ask here if anyone is looking to sell. It doesn't have to be a mixte - I'll just take a nice frame at the right size.
I'd also consider a complete steel framed bike, SS or geared if it was the right one.
Send me a PM if you can help. Thank you! x

Hiya Ladies,
I thought I should say hello to you all - I am new here. Mostly do road riding with Islington CC but ride a Single Speed the rest of the time. I'm also considering stepping up to do a spot of racing next year, so all advice on that front graciously welcomed. It would be great to meet some of you at your next drinks sometime in the near future. xx
Thanks!
