BLB Copper Track Crank Set - £30 ONO
Collection in SE1 much preferred, postage at your cost - cash or PayPal G&S.Some wear 'n' tear and scratches but still plenty of life in them
Vivalo they are attached to is up for grabs in separate post, for sale here.
RRP on BLB is £70 so if you're into loud coloured cranks, it's a bargain.

NJS Vivalo Pro Special -Track Rat 52cm - £150
Collection in SE1 much preferred, postage at your cost (£30) - cash or PayPal G&S.Bought with intention of using to spin around Herne Hill, then I got super into touring and velodromes fell off the radar. It has been stored inside a garage for a couple of years, and it's time for a new home.
Awesome paintwork, showing age with scratches/chips but nothing too major. No dents or dings.
Could be brought back to former glory and used as a track bike or left as is for skidding around town.
Crankset not included, sorry (selling on separate post if interested).
Hatta Swan NJS headset included.

Ridgeback World Tour - 54cm - £300
Collection in SE1 much preferred, postage at your cost (£30) - cash or PayPal G&S.A well loved and much used Ridgeback touring bike. An excellent first touring bike capable of a bit of mixed surface with decent clearances. Went all the way from London to Luxembourg (and more) without a hiccup.
Alumiumn frame with steel fork (lowrider capable), 3x8 drivetrain (Acera rear derailleur, Claris front derailleur, Claris brifters), Tektro cantis and M520 SPDs (you can leave these out for £15 less). Includes two bottle cages, bell, SKS mudguards and Panaracer Tourguard Plus tyres (rrp £30 each). Handlebar tape is Tortec Super Comfort which is plush AF.
Gears are serviceable and the frame is showing the touring life - rubbed paint, chips, scratches etc. However, there are no major dents or dings. One final note: it was bought as crash damaged - I replaced fork and front wheel (M:Part fork & Mavic A119 rim). Frame checked out by a shop pre-build (Balfes Kennington).

After a couple of years "but I COULD get into road cycling" thoughts, I'm selling this beaut of a bike.
I bought it 5 years ago from fellow LFGSS'ers and it did me some solid service skipping around town and on some lengthy rides & tours.
Major decline in use over last couple of years as bikepacking and bouncy 90s MTB frames took over...PLUS after subsequent bike fit, it turns out she's too small for me (I'm 5ft 7").
Her name is Wibble (the Ribble) and she needs a new forever home.
A little about the old girl:
She's got a badass paint job but after someone's blundered attempt at pinching her a few years back she has a tiny dink in the top tube (tried to take a photo but it's small and would be fixable with a frame builder) and some extra chips to the paintwork (again, did my best at taking pic of all of them). I kept thinking I'd respray but never got round to it or had the heart as its so cool as is.
Reynolds 531 steel frame, unsure of era, soz. Other than the chips/dink the frame is in good condition and super light.
52cm across the top and 50cm from top of seat tube to centre of BB
Shimano Tiagra group set - 2 x 10 speed
Campagnolo narrow road drops and quill stem
Jazzy Cinelli zebra tape. These came on bike and they were so rad I didn't change them up but probs could do with fresh tape.
New-ish Specialized road clip pedals Might have some spare flats hanging around to swap out if you'd prefer
Planet X AL30 wheel set. Skinny aero spokes, quick release and light as anything.
Please ignore saddle, it's not included, just left it on to look more complete look in photos. It won't come with saddle as I always feel like that's a personal preference. Especially for lady folks....However, if it is a sticking point I can probably dig one out.
General bike well-being...gears are all happy chappies, brakes nice and responsive, pads still have plenty of life in them, and bearings & bottom bracket all smoooooth.
Awesome dino-stickers and spokeydoke from previous owner and they stayed because they were cool. If you disagree that dinosaurs are cool, I can remove them for you.
£400 ONO
Test riding/pick up/having a look in Elephant & Castle.Message me for times but I'm freelancing and flexible.
THANKS!

I also has the same issue with the trousers. Ended up getting a large, normally wear a medium, it was too big on the waist but legs were too skinny to move. I couldn't comfortably lift my knee up which is a bit of an error on cycling trousers...
It's a shame because I have the cotton rain shorts which I have in a large (they're a bit big but legs were comfier that way) and I love them and wear practically everyday.Perhaps legs patterns are being cut around a fitting model who doesn't cycle?
I don't think I have particularly bulky legs for a cyclist, but I do struggle to buy trousers in the everyday high street shops which are perhaps designed for less muscular thighs?...

Just heard the commotion from my window and I'm on the other side of the roundabout.
I recommend avoiding coming through here at the moment, traffic is clogged up down all roads off of the Elephant.

If there is still space for bmx fun times I would like to come! Have never tried it before and would like to give it a go, it will result in me making girlish outcries and a possible face to floor injury...

Tash - Sorry for my mad slow reply, horrid work times, and thanks for the advice I'll look out for the next Aldi middle aisle excitement. Didn't end up doing the triathlon I planned for in the end, spent my funds going touring instead :p I'm still secretly tricking myself into the swimming distances too just in case.
Miss Mouse - I have the Vulpine shorts(made from same fabric as their trousers) and I highly recommend, I wear them pretty much everyday with no sign of wear and they are waterproof up to the point of relentless wall of rain. Only negative comment is that I had to go a size bigger than I normally would to find them baggy/comfy enough to ride in.
-
Any y'all ladies done a triathlon before?? If so, what did you wear and do you recommend?....Having some trouble deciding if it is acceptable for me to wear a tri-onsie, I have this innate fear I'll look like a baby seal. And not a cute one, a flailing one that is waiting to be dispatched by a lingering shark.
Also, tri-specific clothing costs all ze money...so any purse friendly advice will be gratefully received. -
I went past a man down going Southbound on the CS7 on Clapham Rd just after Oval at about 19.30, he looked conscious (hard to tell as he was still wearing his sunglasses) and police were already there when I went past and they had his head/neck supported. A few other riders had stopped and were waiting with him and no sign of a stopped vehicle so can't say if one was involved or not.
Ambulance went past me as I was going north and it was one of those smaller estate car ones so hoping he's not in too bad nick.Heal up rider!

@Mands Think the ladies track session starts at 4pm before the clocks change, http://www.lfgss.com/thread121845.html Might wanna double check that though.

Hey courier friends,
My bakery is expanding it's wholesale operations in the near future and we're looking for a courier (or 2) to deliver of an adhoc basis for us.
We pay LLW (£10.85 p/hour), and if the drop is quicker than an hour than you get paid that as a minimum. Plus free coffee and a loaf when you ride.
You'll need your own cargo bike of sorts, we have a Christiana but it's not e-powered and it's a bit unwieldy for big loads more than a mile away.
You'll also need a UTR code if you're self employed plz.
And to be ok with being on a group Whatsapp for deliveries, running it on a first come first serve basis as jobs come in, I'll just ping a message over.
Lemmmme know if it tickles any pickles x
