I've just purchased a set of Halo track hubs for my first FG/SS build.
New to FG/SS setups I'm a bit lost on the rear hub and freewheel setup.
I was sold on the reviews of the Hub cost/performance and the 2 cog setup but am completely lost on the freewheel setup of the hub.
So how do I setup the hub for freewheel?
I would also like for it to have a fixed option to eventually learn to ride fixed.
Any and all assistance appreciated.

Perfect shoe to have on and off the bike but make sure you you get the right size as I found them a smaller fit than the sizing suggested. I've just gotten the midways 1 size up and they're perfect.
I have a pair of Kursk non SPD black and red size 10, I think they only do US sizes, going for £40 as they have minimal wear in the sole so couldn't take them back, but look as new from above.

Cheers for the comments Butters and bitrunner.
I'm planning to build the wheels myself. I rebuilt my rear MTB wheel from the ground up and it's stayed straight and true after many riding the many reds of Wales.
I'm sold on the Halo hub. Liking the idea of running a two cog set up. Freewheel not fixed though. Fixed maybe one day. Hats of to those who navigate London traffic fixed.

My first build project and I'm looking to put the Halo Track Hub on a Mavic A719 rim. The frame is the 2012 Tokyo Fixed 'Dream Machine'.
I'm trying to do a build that is practically bombproof and will deliver daily use on the roads of London.
Reviews for the hub so far have swayed me over the cost.
Thawts appreciated.
Any recommendations between the ACS Crossfire freewheel and the Halo Clickster?
I've got a Halo track hub and am tempted to use the Halo Clickster but any reason not to? Is the ACS Crossfire just as good?
Thawts appreciated.
