Hello,
This is the longest of long shots.
I’m trying to track down a rare (in the UK) Miyata bike that was stolen, around 6 years ago one evening from outside the Bull & Last by Hampstead Heath. Must have been May/June 2014.
Not Koga Miyata. It’s in gun metal grey with red decals. Pretty sizeable at 63cms, partial Shimano 600 arabesque group set.
Basically, it’s a very rare and unique bike that would stand out to those who know (anyone on LFGSS) and therefore thought there might be a chance someone has seen it. Would love to hear, so if anyone has, please let me know.
Full Specification:
Miyata Cr-Mo Steel double butted tubing. Flam-Dark Grey paint finish (retouched)
Seat tube: 25” (C-T).
Headset: Tange alloy.
Bars: ITM alloy randonneur-style – 40cm (C-C).
Stem: SR Sakae Custom 100mm.
Seatpin: Selcof alloy Aero micro-adjust 26.8mm.
Saddle: Wright W3N leather (NOS).
Wheels: Small flange Q/R Mavic MA2 Yellow/Green Label 700c (36H). Rear hub Shimano Exage 7-speed freehub, 12-30 cassette. Front hub Malliard.
Gears / Drivetrain: Shimano 600 Arabesque, front & rear derailleurs, Chainset (52-42 rings / 170mm cranks) with Suntour aero friction levers on top of the downtube.
Pedals: MKS Sylvan alloy road (no clips & straps).
Brakes: Shimano 600 Arabesque side-pull calipers with q/r. Weinmann non-aero alloy levers with white plastic “Carlton” branded hoods.
Mudguards: Black SKS chromoplastic narrow-profile.Thanks

Hi guys,
I've just bought a wheel set with 8 speed Campag and don't have the 8 speed shifters. I have 9 speed Campag shifters and wondering if I use 9 speed spacers with the 8 speed sprockets will I have many luck in getting it to shift nicely?
I would have to use 8 spd chain but my derailleur is 9 spd also, so maybe that's an issue.
Should I just get rid of the wheels and start again?
Thanks

Hello,
Looking for a Campagnolo BB with BSA thread. For use with single chain ring crank.
Also, a 700C rear wheel with 130mm spacing and which comes with or can have fitted up to an 8 speed cassette (Using frictions). Easy as to the make of rim/hub but something that runs true w/ smooth bearings would be laaarvley
