Actually saw parts of my bike (Stolen Monday 5th Aug 2013 - post here) at Brick Lane market this Sunday (11th Aug 2013). Unfortunately only the cheapest bits and not the nice frame, engraved GB drops bars or campag cranks...
Pics of the components : omega wheelset running 18t freewheel and 18t fixed, mud guard and miche front brake (still attached to the black brake lever from my bike) and the guy running the stall (black guy in red t-shirt and black body warmer) attached.
If you happen to have bought any thing from this guy - best to assume it IS nicked. If you happen to see these components or my frame for sale anywhere please message me :(
Look at that scowl! I see this guy sometimes and pretty much assumed as much. Sorry about your bike :(

Oh right... he wants to shoot landscape whilst the phone is physically portrait?
Yeah, that's nuts.
Some cameras do this, but not the phone ones.
Why is it nuts?
Phone is big, hands are small. Vertical is easier. I would put up with loss of quality in a aspect ratio tweak of some kind. Must be possible, I've seen it done for stock still camera.

If you are referring to the comment I made about getting the Honjos at my lbs, that's in Gothenburg Sweden, so that is probably of no help to you. Not sure where to get them in the UK. I know freshtripe has some honjo models. Don't seem to have the hammered ones now...
I didn't see that comment, just the picture. They look lovely (and expensive.) I guess Tokyo Fixed are selling some hammered ones that are similar, more in my price range. :) Thanks for the reply!

Finally taken to using a whistle (after my bell got nicked, along with my front light - who nicks a bell?). It definitely gets attention. It's also pretty good at stopping me shouting expletives when something really ugly happens! But I can't help thinking most other people are just thinking "Who's the twat with the whistle?".
Not tested out the choking possibility by crashing with it yet though...
Well... it's on a string, right? You can just pull it right out :D

If anyone has a PAC designs messenger bag, or similar, with the extra load stability strap, please post a picture of the bag & strap?
I want to add one like it to my Metropolis as the thing is really hitting my shoulder with that single load strap. The stability leg helps a little but I think an extra padded strap is what's going to do the trick.
As a side note, has anyone done this? Any tips?

Does anyone know if there are any bicycle shops who need an extra pair of hands in their workshop?
I'm not looking to get paid. I just want to learn how to fix bikes without paying extortionate amounts of money on Cytech.
Some experience fixing my own bikes as well as volunteer work at a bicycle shop last year for about 6 weeks. Lots I don't know and would love to learn.

Seems like the Ledus lights are highly rated then! Glad it's the little guy that's making an impression. I can't believe how few larger companies have realised the necessity of visibility from the side. What could be worse than being blindsided by motorist and then being told that you didn't take adequate measures to ensure visibility from all angles. Yikes.
