A friend suggested I post this here as it might make a decent Polo steed.
Would much rather get rid of this as a complete bike, but do let me know if there are any parts you're interested in.
Here is the original spec when it was new: http://www.bikepedia.com/quickbike/BikeSpecs.aspx?Year=1999&Brand=Kona&Model=Roast&Type=bike
After a couple of changes:
Frame: Kona Roast (TIG-welded, Kona DH 7005 aluminium)
Forks: DMR Sidekick
Rear Brake: Magura. At the moment it'll stop you, but not on a dime. Might just need bleeding, might be shot.
Front Brake: Magura. Not currently attached to bike. In same condition as rear.
Shifters: Shimano Deore LX RapidFire SL
Rear Derailleur: Shimano Deore LX SGS
Front Cog: Shimano Deore LX, 22 teeth + DMR bashring
Cranks: Some budget replacements for the originals. Left crank is rounded off. Right side is ship shape.
Bottom Bracket: Shimano BB-UN52 (shell width 68mm)
Pedals: Budget replacements for originals. One is pretty corroded. They work fine but don't look too great.
Chain: Can't remember the brand, but it's about 2 months old.
Seatpost: Kona Thumb, 30.0mm
Saddle: SDG Belair
Bars: Kona DH risers
Headset: 1 1/8" Aheadset SX
Hubs: Front - Ritchey Pro S, Rear - Shimano STX-RC
Rims: Sun Rims Rhyno Lite
Tires: Tioga 2.1 front and back (tread in pretty good nick)£190 ONO.
Can also chuck in the original Marzocchi z3s (which could do with an oil change) for an extra £10.
Brixton or London Bridge pick up.
If you end up not being able to sell the whole thing, I'll buy the forks and front wheel off you - I have the same bike and got doored recently.
