Hi, I’ve just moved to Glasgow from London and looking forward to some proper gravel that you don’t have to ride miles to get to! I don’t know many people in the city so if anyone fancies a ride then do give me a shout.

Think I’ll probably try and go out this Saturday (5th August) if anyone wants to join. Open to suggestions about route, but happy to sort that. Will probably be ~70km at quite a chill pace leaving ~9am from near Charing Cross

I did some work to do it up a little, new headset, new V brakes and Tektro levers, new tyres (Schwalbe 26x1.5 Gumwall City Jets) new rear mech. I've been using it as my daily commuter/beater for the last 3 years but I've sadly left it get into a pretty terrible state and I don't have the motivation to put the work in that it needs.

I'd love for it to go to a better home so am happy to part ways with it for nothing. It's just about rideable but it's in dire need of some TLC, new cabling, brake blocks, chain and cassette probably at a minimum.

I have this 53cm Whyte Somerset bike for sale.

It’s in good condition as it hasn’t been used extensively but could do with a bit of TLC (ie gears could probably do with a bit of tweaking) as it’s been sitting gathering dust for a year.
