it wasn't broken when he sold it to you though as you test rode it. it could be asserted that you using a track wheel for a purpose not intended caused the catastrophic damage.
yea i stuck my cock it and it made thing explode, so quickly i didnt even have time to enjoy it, what do you think people use wheels for, farming?

i checked them out later before test riding them and actually ask for a refund, he then insisted nothing was wrong with it so i test rode it and it broke instantly, naturally i contacted him about a refund again. i actually said i would take less money back the first time for the inconvenience, cant be more fairer really, truth is he should have dumped the wheel, not posed as an honest person and conspired ripped someone off

Hello,
I bought a fixed back wheel from a forum member which I knew was pretty worn. But in person before buying the wheel, I explained I was a cycle courier and that's what I would be using it for this. The selling said, it would be fine.
After two minutes of using it, the lock ring popped off and it later turned out that the thread was completed destroyed and he had, inadvertently or otherwise, provided me with a very dangerous back fixed wheel.
Has anyone ever had a similar issue when buying a second hand part from LFGSS, and if so, do you know if the forum offers a similar type of buyer protection as Ebay, for example, or whether or not there might be another option if communication with the seller has broken down.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes
Dave
