Look out for any pubs selling Bathams: exceptionally good pale ale that's only available locally.

The people who brew it are very particular: they check it's being poured right, if not they won't sell it to you, so you're guaranteed a good pint.

No: nearest station to site is Duddleston, which is NE of city centre. So anywhere near a station and around 30 mins away would suit.

Just got a start on HS2 and will be using the Erskine Street B7 site entrance. I get £60 per night accommodation allowance and will be there for 12 months minimum.

Any recommendations for digs/areas to check? I'll be using public transport (walking would be ideal) and prioritise a good nights kip over a bangin' night out.

Being long-term and I will be working most weekends, self-catering would be ideal.

The hub was made for this frame, so 142mm x 12mm thru axle.

Likewise the crankset was bought to give a millimetre perfect chainline, with this frame/hub.

The hub & cranks aren't included with the frameset.

Cheapest I can find after a quick search is £700.

The hub is disc brake/bolt-on sprocket and the cranks 150mm (for reduced foot speed). The crank/spider/BB bundle cost me ~£300 and the hub ~£200.

If either of you was interested in one/both of those (at a nice price), I'd give you preference for the frameset.

I had a 3rd dibs via PM and they asked about the fork: it has the original, steel "Signature" fork, not Whiskey forks (photo added).
