LFGSS and Microcosm shutting down 16th March 2025 (the day before the Online Safety Act is enforced)
I’m still at the denial stage. I like your attitude skydancer, and Sparky - no pressure on your article.
I actually know, I think, two, maybe three of you lot in the real world. The rest of you, are somehow still some of the best people I know. I doubt I’ll figure out discord. There will be a hole. Maybe I’ll do something else more worthwhile with my time, but I doubt it.
So much friendly information, comfort, cuntery, smiles, help, there when friends are in need, reassurance, more. It can’t end… -

Hoping someone can help suggest how best to repaint this wall, or rather section of wall with paintwork issues. Moved into this place just over 2 years ago. Over the last 6/8 months or so, have noticed these spots coming through more and more. The spots aren’t wet, I’ve put tissue against them and nothing sticks or comes onto the tissue. The colour of the spots hasn’t changed, just more coming with time. It’s only this one section, above the level of the window, and only on this one wall in the whole house. About 18 months ago I scraped back some peeling paint in the top left of this wall, came off in flakes back to the plaster. I sanded the edges and repainted quickly as it was only a small section. That section doesn’t show any of these spots. What is it, does it matter, and what’s the best way to strip/repaint this so it doesn’t come back? Thanks.

My iPhone battery issues were caused by a dodgy cable - my sister had given me a spare (and cheapo) cable after an upgrade. While I was trying to check everything to figure out the problem, I noticed the lightning plug itself was getting pretty hot while charging. I’ve stopped using that cable and battery life is back to what I would expect. So odd, won’t be using random cables again and I’ll keep an eye on the cable temp while charging.

Edit. This only lasted 4/5 days then back to defective battery. Oh well.
iPhone 13 Pro battery strangeness update. Draining the battery all the way until it turns itself off, and then charging again seems to have worked. Pretty much the same battery life as before I noticed the cliff edge situation, and the battery level decreases and increases linearly through the previously problematic 30-50% range. Defo worth a try if anyone else is experiencing battery issues.

iPhone 13 Pro. Battery has started behaving strangely. When it gets to 50% it dives off a cliff to 30% even with zero screen use and no apps showing battery use in the settings section. When charging there is the same jump in reverse. Apple support couldn’t help remotely. Would like to avoid a 3 hr round trip to the nearest apple shop. Anyone got any ideas?

Nice sounds like I can manage that. Think ours will be a bit smaller than that, but gonna measure up and figure out how many crowns we need over the hols
