SOLD ON THE 16/1
For sale is a Saffron Frameworks credit card/light tourer, designed for use with a Carradiace-style saddlebag support. It's one of my personal bikes. The frame has only done a couple of hundred miles which has resulted in a few minor cosmetic markets on the paint. Reason for selling is it is not really ridden and the money will be going towards more frame building equipment.
For sale is the frame and fork complete with a Campag headset. New price is £550, and i am selling it with a 10 year guarantee.
**I have just dropped the price from £685 to £550. This is what the paint alone cost me!
**

Matthew, nice looking frames. Where do prices start for an 853 frame? (And in pure self interest, Talbot Frameworks came on here offering 853 frames starting at £853 to drum up interest and found a lot. As someone contemplating entering the market and who missed that, any chance of an LFGSS discount? It may be just the thing I need to nudge me over the line... their thread is here if you want to have a look -- > http://www.lfgss.com/thread105252.html )
You are welcome to drop me a line or pop in for a cup of tea to discuss a build.

'severly cutting my ties' is a typo and a half!
Welcome to the forum Matt/Saffron. coolstorybro alert : I have a bike called Saffron Walden, as I like riding north east of London, the bike is yellow and orange inspired by the robes of buddhist monks, and like Thoreau, Walden is like a haven of simplicity for me. So, tldr: I like the name.
I'd really like to see your work up close some time.
Cool name! you are welcome to pop in to scrutinise my work

http://http://static.lfgss.com/attachments/72645d1377856141-saffron_test.jpgHello....
I suppose I am just introducing myself and letting you know what I do. I build bespoke bicycle frames. This journey started in 2009 where I did some training as a welder. Then spent 2 years at Enigma Titanium making their custom steel and titanium frames. This is where I gained most of my skills or I should say gave me a good base to work from. After severley cutting my ties with Enigma I joined up with Feather cycles to put together a book called Made In England ~ the artisans behind the handbuilt bicycle.
Late last year I set up http://www.saffronframeworks.com where I have been making frames ever since.
I primarily build bespoke frames out of steel for any type of riding. http://www.saffronframeworks.com/builds/
I also do repairs, check out the pricelist if you need anything done

The frame and fork new would be around the £1800+ mark, it has hardly been ridden
