Skully is way out in the lead for "most ironic 2013", you have to realise that almost everything he says is aimed at securing that title- it comes with a sweet fixie as the prize.
Ha ha...I honestly thought he was joking. I'm waiting for the back pedalling. If ever there was a time for it, it's now.
Anyway, I sound like a bit of a cunt in my post above but I'm not usually. Someone jist rubbed off on me!

Here's the route...does loop back on itself just in the last bit. I'm doing it...but with gears. You have until Sunday to enter, if you still want to.
It's no Dun Run, but I'm looking forward to another night ride. :)

Ha Ha, I see this guy quite a lot on my commute. He does lots of undertaking, I saw him a few days ago coming up to a red light undertaking a stationary bus, the light turns green as he is doing this and he ends up grounding his pedals on the kerb. Also saw him this week in Shepherds Bush, jumping red light and narrowly avoiding getting hit.
His bike has a hub gear, and his chain is really really slack. His bike handling skills are pretty bad too - lots of wobbling around when he is filtering through traffic.
All round dangerous kind of rider.
It sounds like he wasn't just having an off day when I saw him. He had a real arrogance about him.
If he carries on riding like that, it's just a matter of time before he's under a bus...If it looks like a twat, and rides like a twat....we all know what it is. ;-)

A few weeks ago this class A idiot almost gets taken out at the junction of Notting Hi Gate and Campden Hill. He shouts at the "offending" mini cab driver who was going though a late amber whilst he was going through a red... I was waiting to be a witness, on the side of the cabbie.. :-)
He was riding a white Cannondale Bad Boy....and looked a right knob as he proceded to rlj all the way to Chiswick. I still beat him!

It was a great weekend, but I will reserve my critique on the weekend once I get my bike back....
After speaking to my brother, and said condition of his bike on its return today, I can only sit here and hope that I don't have the same result..
UPDATE : Minutes after writing this above, the doorbell went and I've just got my bike back. It's all in one piece, with a small nick in the paintwork, so happy days! No need to have worried. I wont elaborate on the state of my brother's bike,,,

I bought a cheap fixed gear bike off the Bay a couple of months ago, having wanted to try it out. I love it...not ridden my mountain bike since.
I've read a quote quoting my bike as "a piece of crap" on here...which made me laugh. It's not tbe best...but it's got me hooked on fixed for now. I have been scouring the classifieds as I may just upgrade it bit by bit until it turns into Trigger's broom!

Looks like the wheels are trying to right themselves and thinking about it, they would, wouldn't they?
No-fork, you seem to be going on the assumption that because a wheel can run horizontally on an angled surface (cambered road) then an angled wheel can run on a flat surface?? Surely that is not so because the centrisomething force will try and make the wheel horizontal and the rider will have to fight against this?
Sorry if this has already been covered.
I thought the same..but there's a video of him riding with no hands. Seems to run quite straight.
As OP said, the technology may be put to good use somewhere else besides just a standard fixed gear bike.

Actually it was about safer road design and junction layout not about individual behaviour...
Surely that's still cycling safety?
I think it's a bit rich to ask for changes to road layouts and then not obey rules already in place to keep cyclists safe.
I saw 3 people fall off their bikes on their own accord...maybe some rider training is needed too. :-)
