Can anyone give me a little advice? I recently bought a new rear cog and chainring, crank and chain. I've only NOW after riding bike have noticed that I'm running a 44/14 ratio. No wonder it felt a little odd, harder to pedal even. Does anyone know if I'm going to suffer long term damage as I checked the old cog and it was a 16 tooth jobbie, I ride 6 days a week between 15-20 miles a day.
Some advice would be appreciated and apologies if I've hijacked this thread -

Hi there
Does anyone know the full specs of the Nitto B220A Riser Bars? I'm looking to buy these but can't find anywhere that tells me what the rise is (I really want them to be 50mm!)
They have these at kinoko cycles but it doesn't say on the description so if anyone knows please. if not too much trouble, post!
Cheers! -
Thank you all for the feedback, it's a BLB (please, no sniggering) steel track frame that I would like to find a new home for once I've sorted this jammed seat post problem. I'm not asking for much money but something that will go towards the new frame I'd like to buy.......
I've tried the WD40 trick but as you can imagine there is very little space between the frame and the post. Someone suggested drilling two holes under the bb and pouring coke down the tube but I think I'm gonna go with trying the clamp in the vice method.
Thanks again.

I tried doing skid stops too and found it hard, I think I needed straps on the pedals to make it easier. I did keep the brakes on the bike as a precaution, shame this didn't save me when some stupid cow walked out in front of me yapping on her mobile. I panicked, to avoid her I tried back pedalling and hitting the brakes which ended up with my getting thrown over the handlebars and fracturing my elbow.....
Hi
The bag is still available, I'm in London working in SE1 just off Tooley St
