I know this is an old thread, but I am now in the same position as the OP. I ordered the lower bearing as linked above, but this is 51.8 O/D and I need 51.5.
Does anyone have any ideas where to get the illusive 51.5 bearing from? I have tried the 'standard' bearing companies. Even trawled through the Chinese frame thread and scoured through the provided links in there, but to no avail.
I know Ribble's Stealth headset fits, but they too are out of stock with no date for replacements. It seems so stupid that a whole frame becomes redundant over 0.3mm.
Any suggestions/pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Matt

It is a large size, which us just a touch to big for my compact stature :)
Only ever used on the track, so is in exquisite condition, however there is some chain rash on the rear stay.
Price includes, frame, forks, seat post, headset and bottom bracket. I will even ship it for free throughout the UK too.
Any questions, just fire away.

I know I will probably never get round to this project, so whilst it has made it's way out of the cave, I thought I would see if anyone wants to take on the project themselves.
It seems pretty much complete. There is one spot of surface rust on the frame as you can see in the pictures. It seems to have lost it's rear derailleur at some point too, but gained a very non period seat.
The wheels have lost some spokes along it's journey, but the chrome work on the rear wheel seems to have been protected by a healthy dose of grimy oil. The front one has some pitting. Although they look very, very similar I cannot find any markings on the front wheel, so will have to say they are non-matching.
There is no denying this bike is going to need a good strip down and re-build, but as it's pretty much complete you will have a lovely period bike after a weekends work.
£40 delivered to anywhere in the UK.
Cheers,
Matt

Was back in the cave today, and happened upon the MKM frame I was selling a month or do ago on here. I cannot believe it is still here!
Anyway, I found a matching set of 27" wheels. The hoops are pitted and the tyres have allowed age to crack them, but the hubs are large flange Mallard.
Only asking £60 delivered, via next day courier, for all you see in the pictures.
Any questions, pm me.
Cheers,
Matt

Falcon now sold. Just the Sun left. I am off work, but am going to go in to package these up, so if you want to take the yellow peril off me, it will be with you on Tuesday.
Bit of light reading about the Sun brand - http://classicrendezvous.com/British_isles/Sun_bicycles_main.htm

Whilst digging out some wheels to sell, I have found another trio I am willing to sell on.
Falcon 61cm X 56cm 653 tubing, loads of paint rub and a touch of surface rust on the down tube - £50 delivered.
Wilson 57cm X 57cm, well used loads of patina, no indication of the tubing but I would say it is at least 531. £45 delivered.
Sun 50cm X 57cm, it's low and long, will look ace built up. Paint is good but not perfect. Again no proof of the tubing grade but is definitely not gas pipe!! £45 delivered.
Any questions, just ask away.
Cheers,
Matt

Dug out this little beaut! It is 99% complete. It looks like the rear hub is a sturmey 3 speed, but does not have the connecting parts.
Obviously a non original seat, but that shouldn't be an issue as it is perfectly suited to the style of bike.
The rear brake blocks will need replacing, as will the chain. The wheels have some surface rust on the braking surface, but I would expect this to clear up after a ride or two.
Any questions, just give me a shout.
Cheers,
Matt
