Hello people, I can definitely need some help identifying a bicycle I bought recently!
A few days ago I had the opportunity to buy an old (don't know how old yet) french frame from the brand "Cottereau". There seems to be hardly any record of this company on the internet so I though maybe one of you has some information regarding the bike and its age. Any help is greatly appreciated because I want to try to keep the bike as original as possible staying true to its era.
Pictures are on flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/65268496@N02/ An example is shown below.
Thanks in advance!

There goes a rideable version of my Courtois.
so 1978 Bernard CARRE frame,
went from huret to Simplex gears,
Gipiemme cranks and pedals
Universal model 77 brakes and DA brake levers(until i get fresh universal hoods)
a saddle my arse loves
a longer 3ttt stem and Gimondi-like ITM drops.might add later lower gears (52X14 are good lookin',but i'm more a spinner than a pusher) and a clincher wheelset shall i use it for commuting duties.
BR,
Marguerite DA

Most probably a repost, but I find the Merc 190 E 2.5-16 Evo II attractive in a brutal way.
It's funny your choice in cars mate. 6/7 years ago you could have picked up a 300SL for relatively reasonable money. If I remember correctly 70/80K would have picked up a decent example. Then (think it was) AutoCar did a piece (not that this was the trigger) on them and virtually overnight the prices went sky-rocketting and last year they were selling anywhere up to £650K. I'd take the roadster version over the gull-wing every day of the week though. Far more beautiful lines in my opinion.
The evo 2 is just the perfect Mercedes for car collectors, outrageaous only for a Benz, but it's only an overwinged slow piece of crap.
Would anybody rather drive it instead of an E30 M3?2 years ago at Le Mans classic there was a German guy who brought and had sessions with his mat Black 300SL,that's outrageous(had a "colour" coded SLS in the paddock as well)

Is there any car which looks good with a set of stolen Bentley wheels?
