Im selling my trusty Dolan to help fund a cross bike.
Its a complete build and has served me well over the past year and a half. All of the the components were bought from new.

I got a new bottom bracket fitted at BLB and I haven't ridden it since.

The paintwork has a few dinks but the frame itself is in great condition!
Also the paintwork on the wheels has a few chips but can touched up easily.
The bike has never been crashed and is in perfect working order.
Theres still plenty of Steerer tube left as you can see in the Photographs

The rim diameters of those wheels and the options are as follows

600 is 541 mm dia
650 is 571 mm dia
26" (mtb) is 559 mm
(these are the diameters of the rim where the tyre bead sits)
so the best option would be to go with MTB rims, as these are the closest available quality rims with lots of tyre options. The brake blocks will have to be able to move up about 9 mm in the calipers. 650 c is going to mean moving the blocks 15 mm, and you may have clearance issues

Yeah I was just wondering if anyone had done this before. As I said it looks like the frame might take it. I guess ill have to measure up. It would obviously need new breaks.

you can still get 650c wheels, or a 26" rims instead, the latter's cheaper and easier to obtain tyres/inner tube.

No they are 600c its a rare size it was so hard finding tyres to fit. I was wondering if i could switch these for 650c wheels as there plenty more of them about ?

So I bought this for my girlfriend about 8 months ago and she rides it all the time its a tiny 48cm frame but it fits her perfectly.

I have spruced it up a bit since this photo. But I'm thinking about converting it to single speed. The only problem is it runs 600c wheels I'm thinking about trying to squeeze some 650's? Is this possible ? there seems to be good clearance also at the moment she's running massive tyres.

Has anyone tried removing the decals from a Dolar Pre Cursa? I have seen a few that have had the rear decals removed so its obviously doable but I have no Idea the though of a scalpel seems scary.
