Finally got around to having my tandem painted. Posted this a couple of years ago, chopped and brazed together from two broken frames and some cromo. Looks so much more complete now.
More pics on Flickr if yer interested.

I'd actually love a Rapture as a geared commuter version of my Pompino. Just super hard to find.
Thinking about buying one of those new On-One Mulo's if they ever get the XL back in stock and replacing the dropouts but we'll see.The Sutra is really nice. Should've bought one in 2017 instead of the Stavanger I had for five years. Good mix of high/mid-trail, mtb-feel, loading options but still pretty lively. Fits proper big tyres too.
The new Sutra LTD is a bit different if you want to compare. -

Finally got my hands on a Clydesdale fork. I actually have a 50% stake in another Tunturi Rock'n Road cargobike that me and my friend modded into a cycletruck. This is better though as the handlebars don't hit the cargo when turning.
Nothing special otherwise, partsbin build with a touch of dumpster finds and shiny new dynamo front wheel.P.S. I still can't understand how bikes without fenders make into this thread. I'd rather have a dry arse and a backpack than grinding sand between my Levi's and my Flite and having a rack.

I also did this to an old set of MT62 cranks. I always thought even 165mm cranks looked a bit long for the missus who's 167cm short. And when we moved away from track cranks on her bikes I couldn't find any decent double or triple cranks in 165mm or shorter (actually I could but a) I didn't fancy them b) they were too pricey and c) I had a good stockpile of 175mm cranks).
I wouldn't use the term milled but the process involved a drill press, pedal taps, angle grinder and some files. Now she has custom 155mm MT62 cranks and her rotation looks much better. She told me it was a bit weird at first but got used to it after just a few km's. She can't really hammer down like she used to on 170mm cranks when she's out of the saddle but otherwise she's completely sold on the idea of shorter cranks for shorter people. A bit like smaller frames, handlebars, wheels etc.
