Despite having a good spec and being a fantastic bike to ride around the city the bike needs a little work and I'm in the process of buying a new single speed. The bike had recently been serviced where the wheels were trued and the brake pads replaced. However, shortly after this I had a fall on the bike where I was out of the saddle pushing too hard and the chain slipped. I took it to a local bike shop and they said the rear cog probably just needs replacing and the chain should not slip anymore. The fall did however bend the front forks so that the front wheel no longer spins freely. The forks therefore either need to be bent back into shape (the bike shop, part of a large chain, which I took it to would not do this but others may) or the forks would need to be replaced.
Asking price
Looking for £85 for the bike, which I hope is a reasonable price given the spec (e.g. £120 wheels) and potential. Appreciate the bike needs some work so wiling to take offers if no one offers the asking price.
Practicalities
Pick up from central London (Bank) only.
Thank you

For sale or exchange I have:
A pair of crank arms: Origin 8 165mm x 130 BCD in electric purple
A pair of Halo Twin Rail Courier Road Tires 700 x 24c in purple which have taken c.50miles usage so far.
Anyone interested? I'm looking to exchange ideally in order to make my bike look a little less flashy.

Hi,
I recently bought and assembled someone else's done up single speed. I'm relatively new to bike maintenance so had a few questions:
How taught should the chain be? The tension in the chain is not constant but it doesn't appear to be so varied as to be concerning.
There is a gap of c.2mm between the shoulder of the right crank arm and the frame when fully tightened. The left hand crank arm's shoulder fits snuggly inside the frame leaving no gap. Is this a problem?
Any advice much appreciated.
