Gotta agree with the above, I bought the velcro straps and when they didn't fit, Barry gave me a pair of the other type he makes with thinner straps. Told me to pass on the velcro straps to someone who needed them but couldn't afford new straps. Was a real credit to the forum, sadly missed.

^^as per my pm I'm out of polo for at least a month, had a tangle with a taxi and came of worse. I have pm'd fiona and kit about a sub. You might be better off dealing with them, Barry

I have other, non shimano brakes on my other bike and always felt the brakes were inferior. Soon as I switched to Kool Stop on them I no longer had any worries, a massive upgrade.

They last for what seems a very long time even the salmon ones which I believe are a softer compound.
