Whereabouts are you based in Belgium?

Mostly good (paved most of the time) if i remember correctly. Always rode a fixed road bike and it was fine. Stick to the northwest shore of the canal throughout though, no matter what the gps/ google maps etc. says

I ride between Tilburg and Antwerpen from time to time. I'm a big fan of riding along the canal Dessel-Turnhout-Schoten. If you choose not to go via Zeeland, I can totally recommend sticking to that canal till Sint-Lenaarts and then head up north (via Breda and Utrecht probably). I found that having stretches of the trip where I absolutely do not have to worry about navigation does wonders for my endurance (and mood ;).

Do components manufacturers like shimano or campagnolo actually make any significant amount of money providing equipment for professional cycling teams? or is this mainly a promotional tool while the money is being made with amateur and recreational cyclists? Just curious...

Received my two very nice Stealth Fixed T-Shirts.
2 GBP postage to the Netherlands, very reasonable, even some Dutch online shops charge more than that for delivery.
The colour of the logo print looks even nicer than on the pictures.
Wore the t-shirt on a ride across the border to Brussels last weekend, I think I'm giving up on lycra, T-Shirts feel much nicer somehow.
Stealth T-Shirt --> even the sweat gets invisible.

What is the correct English term for this kind of brake lever (the right-hand lever in the pic)?
Is it "cross-top levers" or are those different?

Lovely bike! And I actually really dig the colours of that stem and bar combo. sad to read that they have to go :) but mine's probably a minority taste anyway...

I tried to utfs but did not really find anything:
A friend of mine has a San Marco Rolls in white and has this issue of her blue jeans turning white and her rolls turning blue...Has anyone else experienced simlar things with this or other saddles?
She has this issue with several different pairs of jeans.
Do you think a different saddle might solve this problem (it has to be a white saddle for her) or would that be wasted money?

Any input appreciated!

You could also add a left-hand drivetrain and then cut it in the middle = two bikes. Mr NoFork might have some ideas on how to go about this.

you might improve your chances of a sale if you took a simple horizontal sideview picture (preferably driveside) of the bike.
I personally think the bike seems to look kind of nice, but its hard to get a decent overall impression of the bike from these angles.

I am actually not so sure about the cages advice. Of course foot retention is an absolute must if you ride brakeless. But it might be a bit much at a time to get used to the fixed gear and cages at the same time. If fixed gear gives you a hard time at the beginning, I would ride with two brakes (and use them!) and no foot retention until you feel perfectly comfortable with the fixed gear. Then put on cages or straps and try braking with your feet. Once you're good at that, you can take of your rear brake if you want. Just a suggestion of course, all roads lead to Rome I guess.
