Hey all,

This isn't about a fixed gear or a single sPeed I'm afraid, but hopefully someone can help me.
Ive got an old touring bike with a snapped rear axle that needs replacing. I'm having trouble finding one though, I've asked in loads of shops but nobodyhas one. EBay shows me 165mm MTB axles, but will that fit? Or can I get 175mm and grind it down?
Is it even worth it I guess I could get a new wheel/ second hand (if anyone is selling)..

Actually how much trueing is needed? I was after the bars too really but I see now they've gone. I am still potentially interested, would friday be suitable for you?
