If you plan on using it a lot they get very hot quite quickly. I was hoping to store some media files on there and edit them via premiere pro but the playback was so choppy i had to abandon. Just used for one drive backups now

What are you using for netmask and gateway values? Why would a dhcp address give you slower speeds than static. Sorry your post isnt that clear. Are you trying to give your pc a static ip or reconfigure a repeater

Documents is a "known folder" has your company used group policy to mandate moving known folders to one drive? If not just go into settings and untick it from syncing.
Treesize is good if you like a UI. Cant remember if they still do a free version though

Yes i can do that too. All my bulbs newer than LCT010 will not turn back on if turned off in the app when using an on/off motion with the wall switch. V annoying

If you dont buy the switches and turn the bulbs off via the hue app they wont come back on without effort unless you use the app. They ignore power cycling unless done 4 times in quick succession to reset them to the default state. I find them useful but also incredibly irritating. Not sure if the tp link smart lights are better. They are significantly cheaper though

Pricey for 2.4 ghz only. To get the best out of mesh you should use ethernet backhaul. How hard would it be for you to run cat cable from source to a mesh device upstairs?

Microsoft 365 family is 79.99 for a year and you get 6x 1TB onedrive accounts for that. I use this for video file storage.
Create the primary account and then 5 dummy accounts and share the onedrive folders with the primary and you have a pretty solid sync client and 6tb of storage in one place. Admittedly it's a bit annoying doing the initial 6 logins fanny around but once it's running it's been very reliable for me. I like how you can right click a folder you need keep it on your device and then just send it back to the cloud easily.
