Cheers I thought of this bit didn't think PGA would bind to the frame as it only sticks to stuff that absorbs water.
When did people become so sarcy I was seeing if there was a better way and if people had experience of doing this

Ive seen a frame that's been coated in newspaper then lacquered or something I was wondering if anyone knew how to do this and what products are best

i have a chainset from a while ago thats been knocking about, wanting to use it on my newest project. how do you work out what shaft length is needed on the bottom bracket, i know i need a 68mm b/b but not sure on the shaft.
the chainset is a square taper set and the only measurement written on the cranks is 170mm.
i have searched the forum for a related post but havent been able to find any but feel free to direct me to it if i have missed it.

It's a halo hub and lockring so shouldn't be a problem there. I'll try laying off skidding for a bit cheers, only thing I'm worried about is whether the threads knackered could that be a possibility?

Tightened my sprocket and lockring as much as possible without destroying the threads. However when I cycle and skid stop the sprocket keeps slipping and the lock ring slips any suggestions? Cheers

On my fixed gear when i ride it recently the chainring or bottom bracket slips when I cycle of the line hard. It the. Slips back when I skid stop any ideas what the problem is? Cheers

Hi I'd like to set up a fixie with two chain rings and a rear hub with two fixed sprocket. I wanna achieve a high and low gearing. Was wondering how you can calculate which gearings will work with the same chain length. I know this can be done I met someone a while back who had done it but can't remember what ratios he used. Also Shelton brown mentions it but they aren't the ideal gearings I want. Cheers
