2010 Globe Roll 1 XL (61cm)

Getting rid as having to move somewhere with less space for bikes.

All standard, few scrapes to the frame from being locked up/falling over. Bit of rust on some of the bolts but nothing too bad.

Looking for £120 for it.

I've got a 61cm Globe Roll 1 for £170. Few upgrades on it. In Central London.

Last month or so I've noticed, especially on my route from Holborn to LB, not so much bad cyclists as bad road users on bikes. Seem to think that sitting on the right hand side of the lane at lights when you want to turn left and vice versa is the correct thing to do. Then getting all pissed of when the tarmac they are trying to turn across suddenly becomes full of bikes and cars. Wonder if it's to do with the 'lympics putting a lot more new cyclists on London's roads (a good thing) who either aren't used to them or just don't know good/basic road etiquette.

Bunch of planks flying through the reds on Theobalds street outside the police station, if I hadn't been looking out for such idiot behavior i'd have been t-boned all to hell.

Its just too early in my journey to be dealing with so many knobs.

Having said that rest of my journey in was pretty good, I put it down to lack of ped-lemmings.

Quick undertaking question, what do you do when the rider infront of you is a) riding slowly and b) riding on the right side of the road, so there is no way to get round on the correct side without going into the oncoming lane.

I know its highly frowned upon but how are you supposed to get past such numpties without undertaking?

Coming off London Bridge onto Tooley street this morning ended up following a guy on a red fixie with silver seat stays. He was in possession of what i can only describe as a mighty horn of justice which he parped all the way down the road, clearing peds and motorbikes as he went.

I followed respectfully in his ped free wake.

Two examples on Long Lane last night, one standard one amazing:

First. No front light, back light is a white light (ok maybe lost rear light/battery run out so not too bad)

Second. Had a front and rear light but the front one was pointing backwards. Maybe it was to light up her fluro gear so people could see her more easily....

I was heading home last thursday night, road was wet, it was quite dark but wasn't really worried about anything bar my soggy trousers. Was turning right off High Holborn onto Red Lion St, this is right at the end of my ride so my mid was very much on other things. As I turned in I noticed a pedestrian had was half way across my lane so tightened my turn... Right over a 3wide manhole cover. Front tire went out from under me. I braced for impact but somehow the bike stayed upright (i'm secretly a cycling ninja?) except I was then traveling forward with the front wheel at a 90 degree angle shuddering like a mofo. Managed to get it straight and cycled off like a boss* leaving awed pedestrians in my wake**

• Note: May have not done any of the above 'like a boss' due to look of terror on my face and scream of "shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit" throughout.
  ** One of them definately said "bloody hell" as i wobbled off.
  

These crack me up, could never work out how these clowns manage to lock their bikes so badly. Then last night at the gym I very nearly left my bike having locked it securely to nothing but air....

Oh dear.

Got mine a few weeks ago, only just fitted them as I was changing to DMR flat pedals which took ages to arrive. Much better than my old toe clips. Really well made and good value for money.

I'm after a set.
