King cutter are you thinking straight, how could you want to sell that bike!? I am interested, the only trouble is, I'm just after a frame as I've a groupset and wheels to put on it.
The other problem I have, I did want a size 61 because I'm 6' 4" but I've worked out with the help of Steadlocks ^^ that I could get away with a size 58. If you are interested in selling me the frame, may be I could come and hook my leg over your built up bike to check for size?
You might not want to split your bike or sell it right now. What ever you decide, I'm interested and I'll always be here waiting, even at the end of the racing season (You might want to enjoy it this year and flog it later). I do have a frame to race this year but I want a leggero. Have a think and PM me. Also could you send me a link please for 59 geometry, I've only got sizes for 58 and 61cm.
Thanks for posting, I didn't think I'd get one post let alone two! Regards Nick.

I was looking for some jones bars though!
I'm hoping for that......the bike weighs in at 32.5lbs as is.....I've only got to get a bit off. Wheels and chainset, and it will be nearly 25ish.....!What about getting rid of another 7lbs of body weight and saving a shite load of money?
Cheers for the stickers, put them on tonight, it's proper slave now m8!
Good game tonight, lucky old Arsenal ;-)

CAADs are good for racing, but not so good for crashing...
This is true, but both cost more than...
Unless you're going to have lots of frame destroying crashes, it might still be cheaper to ride a £400 Planet X or other Chinese crabon rather than a £800+ domestically built 853 frame. Some of the crashes which write-off crabon will also need £200 worth of tube replacement on steel after all.
Of course, the hard truth that all poseurs wish to avoid is that, if you have the talent, £140 spent on PX aluminium will get you all the frame you need to get noticed and never pay for your own frame again.
Thank you for the link and advice. I had to rub my eyes, the PX frame truly is a bargain! Much obliged.

Get rid and get something steel......you know you want to!
LOL! I will think about that Pat..........did you see the reply from Sir mdcc of Tester? I thought he would say about a quality ali frame like a Specialized E5 or the cannondale caad frame like the one a few pics above.
It was seeing the picture that reminded me of my dilemma. I did not think for one minute of getting steel. I will look into this as I very much value Testers advice.

In my last road race of the season, half the peloton were brought down including myself. I've never seen so much "smashed up carbon". Lucky for me, I was able to get going again and as I rode home for pride, I couldn't help but think..........."do I need a 2K bike frame" when the likes of a Cannondale cad frame is more than suitable for the local bike races/crits?

Yep, that's the obvious one. In fact until recently I had a Langster set up in total winter mode. Does the trick and rode pretty nicely (certainly climbed well for such a fully laden bike with the basic "stock" wheels and running gear), but I'm looking for something a little bit "special" that I can build up with some nice light bits for dedicated hill climb action. Whilst this is possible with the langster, if thinking something a bit different or at least a change from what I've already tried. I'm sure with better kit I'd get the best out of a langster frameset, but...
Trek T1 perhaps or something like a Dolan Seta (except with a rear brake drilling). Any other ideas?
Do you want it for hillclimb competition? Any old thing will do for training if you put in the same effort. I used an old pedalo for two weeks when I was holiday this year. Treat yourself to something that "flicks your switch" and fits you right.

There are people on this forum that will pull your pants down for asking a question like that! However the only pants I pull down are my wife's.
I road race a cervelo, but cards on the table, the bike I love to ride and train on is my "shit heap" fixed gear langster (slave). I'm going to get my pants pulled down for saying that.
Dream bike I would love to ride, is Carmen Electra.
