They look like just the thing, I'm guessing that using a wooden one would reduce the risk of damage to the bb/ crank.

Worth a try of making a wedge in wood I guess.

I have a set of 7710 track cranks, the same as the road set. I think this was quite a common problem. The self extracting bit has popped all the threads out. Now I can't remove the crank as an extractor just pops out as does the bolt.

I previously removed the drive side bb to push it off. However that is not possible this time.

Any ideas on removing it? Or what I could do to salvage the crank (it works fine, shame to bin it once off).

Stolen on Tuesday night 18th sept from a van in Manchester, pinarello x track (red, with hint of blue and white pinarello stickers), dura ace chainset, Izumi super gold chain, size 49cm with corima disk in the bike. Also taken from the van a Mavic wheel bags a 5 spoke mavic I0 2012 with carbon hub and Mavic comet with gold Eai 14 sproket.

Sorted the problem. Ordered a fsa crown online and dremled it.

My ignorance fixed not fixie in future!

Hi, notice a few people have these on here. Any ideas on a crown race that will fit the headset on a pinarello frame. It's not a standard integrated size. It seems a little deeper than normal, the bearing on the bottom says 61806rs.

I'm looking for an answer on makes that I could buy? Any advice welcome. Yellow don't have those type of spares as they are part of the fork. Cheers

Does the fork have a cut out on the rear for a caliper? I had a similar style track fork, once you chipped off the paint had a bolt fitted (so a road fork pretending to be a track fork!?!) might be worth a check before drilling.
