Hey, doesn't this relate to nearly every country? I am not from the Kingdom originally, but I also fell off trees, played in the woords, drank from the tap and had a BMX and loads and loads more, like used to eat just bread with butter and honey and used to run around all day, playing hide-and-seek, and didn't even know anything about computer games or mobile phones... And I don't think any of us would've been thinking of riotting, we were too afraid to steal gum from a shop where nobody was guarding the display.

I had quite an amazing brunch yesterday. We had tomatoes with mozzarella and cabbage salad with cucumber and mayonaise, all kinds of meats and bacons and ham and then creamy blue cheese, assorted vegetables and loads of jams and croissants with butter and then loads and loads of fruit. It's one of those brunches that you know you shouldn't eat so much, but just can't stop. :)
We allow ourselves this kind of eating only on a Sunday, before a long walk or run. Otherwise, with all this sitting in the office, it's all salad for me. :)

Omg, how are you guys doing that? I can't seem to be able to cope with the sitting on the bike for so long and you can only stand so much.
Berlin is quite rainy for the last week but it looks a bit better for the weekend, particularly Sunday. Hope you may reach the good weather, as they say it's been an 'atypical' season this year and it's been 18 degrees and raining (leaving the UK to come on vacation here does not seem the best idea atm).
And congrats! I got maximum respect for you lot.

OMG, I'm so happy today, my colleague brought me one of those coffee makers that you put on the stove. I couldn't be bothered to give money for one and I've been getting up without coffee every morning, had just some instant ice-cappucino or sth - not good! Not helping me wake up and doesn't help my stomach in the morning either lol. But from tomorrow I'll be like a normal human being again. :)

Wow, that is one bloody long journey, eh? :) I love your route. I think it's a good idea to stay away from Eastern Europe (despite it being financially attractive), as we've had loads of bikes stolen over there (I don't want to offend or generalise, but it has been all over the news, international bikers who go on a world cycling tour get their bikes stolen).
I wish I could pack a bag and leave my job behind, while setting off on a journey across Europe. Man, I'm so jealous.
Are you loving it yet? The weather in Western Europe has been pretty shit lately, how are you coping with this? Swearing in the rain?

I think in general everyone who recommends diets to other people is a moron (no offence to anyone here, yeah?). I've found out through my long years of dieting and looking for advice that different eating regimes work differently for everyone. Do you exercise, do you have a lot of stress in your life, do you drink coffee, alcohol, do you smoke, do you have kids, how old are you... All those things are not to be ignored when it comes to dietting, as they determine one's lifestyle inevitably and thus you can't recommend one diet for all humans.
I found that low-carb diet works the best for me. I've been on the separate eating regimes and all kinds of other diets, have quit alcohol and smoking at times, have done the regular meal thing, the exercising, the l-carnitine, everything you can think of, really, but the high-fat low-carb diet works the best for me - not only it's technically all that I like eating anyway, but it's also cheap, makes me feel good and energetic and makes me lose weight.
And despite this, I won't go as far as immediately recommending it to everyone else, cause who knows what balance you have in your bodies, maybe that diet will just make it worse.

Complete shoe coverage in jeans (dark denim normally) was essential for me and my companeros between 1998 and 2002 or so (18 to 22 years old). When it rained you got brown street water soaking up your legs and the bottoms just frayed to bits until you were literally walking on them.
I'm glad there isn't much photographic evidence of these unfortunate fashions.I remember those days! Every carpet near entrances was filthy after it had rained...
I had a lot of trouble sleeping and wasn't going to bed until like 7am and then slept for just a few hours, was always exhausted and powerless and all that, had a lot on my mind, worries, troubles and all. Not even working in a warehouse, doing physical work, helped. But now that I have an office job and have to put more thoughts into my work, I get so exhausted that I fall asleep between 9-10 in the evening and can't even keep my eyes open, if I try and stay awake longer. If I miss the gap, I can probably keep up till about 12, but with very little ability to do anything.
