I think I've checked their site every year for 10 or more years trying to decide what to get & eventually not ordering anything.
The geometries on the OTP framesets are kinda funky for the large sizes so I've never been able to commit to buying one & for some reason I didn't really want to settle on a track frame - not entirely sure why, but maybe 10 years ago they just seemed too expensive.
However since then the price of everything else in the world has gone up but the Panasonic frame prices (particularly with the JPY exchange rate) don't seem have changed at all.

I put together a single-speed.
I've been commuting on the heavy 'dad' bike for many years and it's been a long time since I've had something fun to just hop onto when not delivering a sprog somewhere.
I snapped last summer when I saw two 3Renshos within a week and I wondered why I didn't have anything fun to commute on. Considered something cheap but in the end ordered a Panasonic as I've always been a fan of the team colours - and the JPY was crashing.

A supposed disgruntled employee also has things to say down in the comments too.

I've been going down a rain-jacket rabbit hole the last few days and feel like I'm now going around in circles.
The jackets I've been checking out all seem to be made of Paclite, Infinium, Pertex Shield Air, Neoshell, or unspecified 3 or 2.5 layer fabrics.
My temptation is towards the breathable end - e.g. Neoshell or Infinium rather than Paclite.
I guess where I'm kind of blocked at this point is on the whole breathability vs waterproofyness spectrum. How much of it is a bunch of bollocks - is even the best jacket out there just a tiny bit better than the worst.
Are they all ultimately just like riding in a bin bag?
The context would be general off and on-road riding, every winter I end up wondering why I don't have a proper rain jacket for MTBing but what's recently spurred me on is some notional autumn cycle touring in the mountains that could end up sodden.

Corsa Controls - wondering if I'm just having a run of bad luck with them or if they're really puncture prone for others too.
I'm having more frequent punctures with them then many more racey tyres. Even the smallest little bits of glass seem to happily cut right through them.
Anything else I should be looking at for a non-tubeless 4 season tyre or is there nothing much between them? Was having a quick look around this AM and came across the Michelin Pro 4 Endurance (quite old now), newer Power All Season, Pirelli 4S.
TBH I also just had better luck with standard GP 5K... again, could just come down to luck or lack of it.

I did attempt to contact them but I only received an automated reply shortly after - I think my mistake was having 'return' somewhere in my message and it prompted a response that didn't answer any of my questions. I waited a further 24 hours for anything better before giving up and simply returning them.
Maybe we'll see again next time there's a sale.

Ordered two sets of technical trousers in the current sale and just received them both in the wrong size ... Is this par for the course these days with Rapha? Been a while since I last ordered from them. Feels like the material and fit too is maybe a little different too and possibly not for the better.

It seems all RS threads bring up some strong opinions but this thread is incredibly tame compared to the one that sprung up on the paceline (where RS himself posts regularly) discussing this years open order book.

So the rear hub on our Yuba Kombi appears to be somewhat fooked right now - play in freehub, possibly a bent axle to boot. I'm not coming up with much searching for "cargo bike rear hub" - is there anything specific, any good hub to look for?
To be more specific, this is a 135mm (I believe.. I should check that), bolt-on, HG, 6-bolt disc hub, and the freehub is 10-speed (MTB) so that's basically what I'm looking for, a direct swap. Oh, and not a hub with a motor in it.
If there's nothing out there but cheap-tat like this Yuba hub appears to be then are there other options like a solid-axle swap on a cup-n-cone (e.g. Deore) hub? Unfortunately needs to be able to take the brunt of two small kids on the back and a mid-drive motor + parent up front.

Maybe you can gets some straps to wrangle together the bags and throw them over a shoulder when moving through stations / to the train?
The montbell bag is a good buy.
I've had funny looks leaving my bike in the entry like that but everyone is too polite to say anything. There's often a spot within the main cabin behind the rear seat where you can just about fit a bike in. But there's quite a bit of train variation and/or lack of space so you'll be fine anyway.
Hope you've felt good enough to get a walk around Nikko, see the main temples. Its a lovely place.

Seems at least in the US/Canada there's finally a partial recall on certain bonded Shimano cranksets today:
https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls/2023/Shimano-Recalls-Cranksets-for-Bicycles-Due-to-Crash-Hazard
Wonder if we'll see that in other countries, or if that's happened but the info hasn't circulated yet.
Still reading through all 19-something-pages right now so maybe already asked - serious but not serious question - could the forum not just be geo-blocked to deny access to those accessing from the UK?
At least I could still access it here in EUland, and everyone else who's abandoned ship :)
Or anyone with a VPN..
