I have not performed a nerdwank for many years, but bitd was known to play, many. cyberpunk 2020, top secret/s.i. twilight 2000, the obligatory d&d and call of cthulu amongst others.

hmmm, just been down and dropped my frame and forks off. was definitely set on ral 6003 matt green which was perfect for a low key bike. however, the choice of colours there was too great and got the better of me and i ended up choosing 6027, which he then pointed out was virtually bianchi green. then as i was leaving i spotted an awesome 'rootbeer with clear laquer'. ive got 2 days to change my mind. sigh.

and yes very very friendly and patient there. nice to feel like a customer and not a hindrance.

Ive just fitted a set of these to my wangster and I'm really enjoying them. I didnt like the postion of riding on drops as I came from 25 years of mountainbiking. With the bullhorn I feel 've gained a riding position, being able to ride the ends, like hoods is suppose and also having the 'drop' for cranking uphill. Plus having the extra leverage over the front wheel helps modulate the real wheel when skidding. Not that i plan to loose both brakes any time soon.

I've just put a nitto techniomic on mine.... not much different tbh, just a bit shorter in reach. I bought it so I could fit a set of rb021's which have really improved my enjoyment of the bike.

why not look at the bay? i've just nabbed a brooks for 30 squids! its second hand but its for sitting on, not looking at.

feel free to move this if neccessary, but I've seen that Halfrauds as selling bike stuff on 3 for 2 on some of their bike stuff including brooks b17 saddles as well as some other half decent stuff. why not club together a with a couple of mates/forumites and save £20 on one.

Just had an almost great experience with sjscycles. I wanted a black halo track cog which noone stocks yet. ordered it wednesday when it was oos with them and it arrived this morning, with a lock ring and a chainwhip multi tool.(paid for). nicely packaged and a pretty rapid delivery and the guys on th e phone were really helpfull . sadly the chain tool doesnt fit the cog (slim chain) so I'll speak to them monday and see whatthey say.

training now for the windsor half...did 8km run this morning followed by 30km on ss. feeling it :0. I ran the amsterdam half last yearc in 2'10" after 2 months training but then ruined it by doing nothing for 6 months. I really want to get back into it on the regular with aims to running the Tough Mudder next year in may.

Hello, I'm Gareth and I've been riding a steel Langster for a month and I got a puncture yesterday and really how hard can it be to get the wheel in the right place and tighten the nuts?

Sad to say but this is something i've yet to deal with, and will have to when my track cog arrives (only have freewheel at the mo) but i've seen it mentioned recently that people have lost the abilty since most bikes these days have qr hubs.

i have UTFS but cant seem to reference it. Where can i find info on getting clearance and chain tension correct ?

I know what you mean about it being a bit mean to claim from them, but why should you make good their errors. I don't felony customers to pay for their own ceilings/carpets when I destroy them. Not that i make a habit of it you see.

Ok it's an old bath so this is probably to be expected. I can't advise you on how to do it, but I'd really recommend www.diynot.com forums to you. It's a brilliant resource with some very friendly and knowledgeable folk on it. I use it as a resource for all my diy projects. I'm sure you'd get better advice on this subject over there.

But seriously, I would fight it and if thats what they pay that's what they pay. It's what their insurance is for. They should have taken proper precautions to protect YOUR property.

the contractors will have to get it back to the condition it was in before they fooked it. i work for a very big english gas company and have 'generated' a couple of insurance claims. we cant just choose the cheapest option.
