Lovely "Dromarti Strada" in excellent conditions. Frame was bought in 2013 & the bike built up in spring 2014 with Ulegra groupset & wheels built by H. Rowland. All components were brand new when the bike was built up ( apart from saddle ). The Dromarti company owner use to offer frames, which he exhibited at the Bespoke cycling show here & in US. ...however he has subsequently focused on the shoes. I have the original "Strada" PDF somewhere I can forward on.

I bought this off RIH Sept 2011 for my brother to introduce him into the world of road cycling. He didn't really catch the bug and subsequently the bike has only been ridden apprx 20 times max since buying it. In fact it is unridden this year and only used a handful last year. I have copied in the spec from the original thread, there are no changes other than the bike could do with a clean and the bar tape is a little tattier. From 6' the bike looks in reasonable nick, although on closer inspection there are marks to the paint and the odd rust spot. So in fairness I would say the photos probably flatter the overall appearance, so please do not expect a pristine bike, happily though no dings or dents and it all works.

At the moment the bike is currently residing at my parents house ( near Andover, Hants ) or I can get is slightly nearer to London, as in Basingstoke. Unfortunately it is not something I can arrange to post out, so any buyer would need to collect from either Andover, or Basingstoke.

Price £270.00, which is far less than I paid for it and my brother also paid for it to be serviced prior to riding it. Dibs followed by immediate PM only, though please consider that the bike needs collecting, ideally in the next couple of weeks ( hence the price! ). Any questions please shout.

1. Brooks B17 Narrow. Used for 500 / 600 miles. So possibly marginally softened, but not shaped in anyway. In good clean condition £45.00

2. Deda Super Zero Carbon Seat Post. Generally excellent condition. Small insertion mark, though once in your seat tube... could almost be like new. £40.00 ( these are typically £90 new )

3. Deda Servizio Course 100 Stem ( L. 130 ) in gun metal grey. Which 1" shim. Like new £35.00 ( these are typically £90+ new )

4. Open pro wheels. 36 H front & rear. Front hub Campag record. Rear Campag Centaur, which will take Campag 9,10,11 speed. I'lll include Bontrager racelite tyres which have done 500 miles only. Generally in good order, bags of life left in them. I've only used a handful of times in the last 5 years - though I think the wheels date from early - mid 2000. Skewers included. £85.00

5. Thomson Elite Seat post. L. 250. 2 years old. Covered approx 500miles only. Bottom 9cm has scratches from twisting to remove it. Though the top 12cm of seat post very clean.... £30.00

6. Cinelli Stem. says 10.5 on it. For 1" tube. £18.00

Indeed, there are no visible seat post bolts. The clamp is built in the top tube and there is a black stopper, which you pull out, to reveal an allen key bolt. A brilliant piece of design... typically Italian!

Lovely Casati Laser with Campag Chorus 10 speed groupset and Nucleon wheels. Size seat tube 57 c-c top tube 56 c-c. Frame is fillet brazed Dedacciai EOM 16.5, one of the lightest steel framesets around, with carbon forks.

Overall in beautiful condition, rarely used and kept in tip top order. The frame has a couple of paint chips and the groupset is almost unmarked. Lightest of shoe marks on cranks and 1 feint scratch on 1 of the ergos. The bike could almost be like new. Current Laser frames are apprx £2,300.00! There are 2 conti tyres on the wheels ( 1 gatorskin, the other 4000s which have only done approx 100 - 200 miles ).

Only selling to fund parts for a frame I bought from another forum member that I could not resist.
