Norwegian DBS Kombi Maxi Lux (Den Beste Sykkel, literally translates to "The Best Bike") from the 70s. These are VERY rare in Britain, I bought this one in Oslo after it had been thoroughly serviced around 2005 (I have the receipt somewhere and can try and find it if you want it to go with the bike).
It has some chips and a little rust, but runs fine. The wheel size of 24" is somewhere in between the tiny wheels of the common foldables and a full size which makes it snappy while also having portability.
Get in touch to view or try, near Hackney central.
Features:
18/8 stainless steel, and it has the sticker to prove it!
Easy handle to take the bike apart to fit in a car boot or similar
Rear pannier rack
Rear brake is accessed by back-pedalling
Front brake on the handlebars
Has two gears, you change gears by back-pedalling.
Comes with a 4-digit combination lock
New back tyre fitted, and comes with a spare new tyre and a couple inner tubes.

I'm reluctantly selling my faithful Bianchi Pista. It's been a great first single speed bike, light and tight.
It's a 51cm.
I've changed a few things to the original spec:
Sugino Messenger crankset
New thicker chain
Dirty Harry Front Brake Lever
Hand-built Brick Lane Bikes White Deep-V Front Wheel
17 Freewheel
14 (I think) fixed wheelThe bike will be sold with the original bianchi saddle.
The bike needs a new back wheel which I'm planning to replace, but as a result will come with two prices:
£350 for the bike without new back wheel
£400 for bike with new back wheelOpen to offers.

Hello,
I'm looking for a good quality single speed bike to replace my bianchi pista that I've had for 6 or so years. Main reason I'm replacing is I'd like a frame drilled for a rear brake so I can ride it freewheel. The bianchi has been excellent and I've had no problems with it apart from needing to replace the crank to a sugino messenger as the original broke.
If there is interest I would exchange my bike for a new one.
Currently looking at genesis flyer as a possible but want something that looks 'less new' for commuting in London.
My bianchi pista is a 51cm (I'm 5 8' with inside leg 53.5 and it's been great for me)
Here's a photo of her: http://www.flickr.com/photos/vvillovv/2746610831/cheers!
