Plus ive got my winter wheels on at the moment, can't wait to get the summer set on in the next few months.

Right, I have a Giant defy frame and recently bought some Planet X forks with a 1-1/8 steerer. The old forks were tapered so worked fine. The frame has a FSA No.44e fully integrated headset (I think), 1-1/8 bearings at the top and 1-1/4 bearings at the bottom.
I know there are reducer crown races out there for 1-1/2 to 1-1/8th, anyone got any idea of one for 1-1/4 to 1-1/8? Maybe a crown race with inner diameter of 1-1/8 and outer diameter of 1-1/4? I know problem solvers make some shims for this exact thing but I don't think they work with fully integrated headsets?
OR is there some sort of shim that can slide over the steerer to make the crown race for 1-1/4 fit?

Yes alright. I've been hanging around with unicyclists and I'm sure their enthusiasm for the importance of crank length has clouded my judgement.
As a unicyclist myself, crank length plays a huge part for speed, control and leverage. I've not noticed this as much when riding bikes, only on the leverage side of things.

No longer riding my fixed gear, sadly had to let it go earlier this year. Enjoyed the last one so might still come along on my road bike or 29er and join in on the banter.
