If you're gonna get some Dittons get a pair with passive radiators. They've got a floorstanding pair in Dreamhouse Records, and they sound amazing. The sealed enclosure type are a bit thin on bass, which is to be expected.

Mine started to struggle to track certain discs properly and then the tray mechanism failed. I picked up an earlier (glitchy) player cheap and simply swapped the drive unit into mine.

It's fairly common for the laser transport to get drag especially when they're only used intermittently, can be fairly easily sorted by cleaning the rails and lubricating with some thin silicone oil. The reproduction should improve too.

Ended up getting a 125mm dropper, but I've still got the 27.9mm 100mm and I'm looking for a 150mm 31.6 post now.

Does it need expanding until it catches the inside of the steerer. Then when you push it in and tighten it up it'll expand?

Their aesthetic doesn't lend it's self to carrying a battery IMO, which is why I guess they'd gone for a very generic looking aluminium frame.

Dual 505? I had one of those, a great starter deck, there's one that's doing the rounds in here I think. A NAD amp can be picked up for under £100 easily on eBay.
