Yer man being using it for Viking reenactments?
Good luck! Make sure you show us the end result!

Mine started to struggle to track certain discs properly and then the tray mechanism failed. I picked up an earlier (glitchy) player cheap and simply swapped the drive unit into mine.
It's fairly common for the laser transport to get drag especially when they're only used intermittently, can be fairly easily sorted by cleaning the rails and lubricating with some thin silicone oil. The reproduction should improve too.

Kenwood Chef - maybe 2nd/3rd gen (it's old), went with a pop in the summer, and I had all the intention of fixing it, but work and childcare have deterred me. I'm assuming it's either a cap, or the motor. They're pretty simple machines, I've repaired it once before when it was stuck on fast.
It's got the K beater, dough hook, whisk and the bowl.
£5 collection in Walthamstow (it's heavy).

If you're gonna get some Dittons get a pair with passive radiators. They've got a floorstanding pair in Dreamhouse Records, and they sound amazing. The sealed enclosure type are a bit thin on bass, which is to be expected.
