Yeah, I was surprised to read that^^ I've only ever worn mine once on a proper ride and it was when it the heaviest rain I've ever cycled in. They're awful for riding in unless the temp is below 0 in my opinion.

I'm a bit puzzled: that bike has a 56cm TT (ctc) and a 53cm (ctt) ST, yet you say it's too small? Those are the requirements you listed above. Surely a cm too *small *in the seat tube is something you can live with on a tourer? How was the previous frame too small?

Made me feel inadequate.

My LBS has informed me that the gear and brake cables on my recently purchased (second hand) road bike are a bit squiffy and could do with replacement. I don't want to spend too much seeing as I've just splurged on a new bike, but can anyone recommend a bundle I can get online that will do the job? I need all the ferules etc too as those are a bit fucked too. Preferably not too ugly as the bike is quite nice...
