Half an hour in the other direction (SE) down the Trans Pennine Trail, you can get to Coffee Fix in Gatley. They're very bike friendly and have a garage in the back so just ask at the counter.

Got one from the LBS nearest my work, but it doesn't look like what I was expecting... Should I swap it for a more traditional one? Advice on installation appreciated!

Lovely bike this morning (11 am) locked between Oddest and North Star Deli on Chorlton's Wilbraham Road. White frame, but purple headset, flat bar and forks. Yellow chain, grips, saddle rails and seat post. Bigger hubs, Thunderbird rims, thickslick tyres.

At 10.10 am, orange frame on the way into town on Upper Chorlton Road just past the leisure centre.

And at 1pm, black frame, green rear wheel and tyre, black front cycling up the bike path outside Whitworth Art ridden by a guy in black sleeveless vest and cap.

Deep white rims, lime green frame, snogging a girl in Cutting Room Square, Ancoats about 6.30 pm yesterday.
